Report: FBI Hunting Terrorist ‘Sleeper Cell’ Linked to Tsarnaev Brothers

The FBI was last night hunting a 12-strong terrorist “sleeper cell” linked to the Boston Marathon bomb brothers.

Police believe Tamerlan and Dzhokhar Tsarnaev were specially trained to carry out the devastating attack.

More than 1,000 FBI operatives were last night working to track down the cell and arrested a man and two women 60 miles from Boston in the hours before Dzhokhar’s dramatic capture after a bloody shootout on Friday.

A source close to the investigation said: “We have no doubt the brothers were not acting alone. The devices used to detonate the two bombs were highly sophisticated and not the kind of thing people learn from Google.

“They were too advanced. Someone gave the brothers the skills and it is now our job to find out just who they were. Agents think the sleeper cell has up to a dozen members and has been waiting several years for their day to come.”

A specialist team of CIA and FBI interrogators was yesterday flown to a Boston hospital to grill wounded Dzhokhar, 19, about the secret group. The University of Massachusetts student was caught on Friday after hiding out in a boat parked in a garden in locked down Watertown the day after a gun battle with police left his 26-year-old brother and a rookie cop dead.

Dzhokhar is said to have run his brother over as he escaped in a stolen car while Tamerlan lay handcuffed on the ground. They were carrying six bombs with them at the time, three of which exploded, as well as a handgun and rifle. The devices were thought to be pipe bombs.

Last night Dzhokhar – badly wounded but alive – lay handcuffed to his hospital bed under armed guard. The other three arrested in the port of New Bedford are also believed to be of college age.

Dzhokhar even went to a college party two days after the bombs wreaked havoc at the finish line. According to fellow students, he “looked relaxed” as he joined in a party at the campus on Wednesday night.

Hours later he was involved in the shootout which saw his brother killed.

……And an FBI statement said the matter was closed because interviews with Tamerlan and family members “did not find any terrorism activity, domestic or foreign”. But now they believe the pair, who emigrated to the United States from Dagestan about a decade ago, were part of a terror cell.

The sociopath partied after he helped kill 3 people and maim dozens of others for “allah”, and even took the time to tweet some pithy philosophical shit while on the run. That says a lot about his lack of conscience.

They weren’t through with the attacks, they were only stopped because their photos were released to the public.

At least this time, the authorities used some common sense and didn’t read the little fucker Miranda Rights, invoking a rare public-safety exception triggered by the need to protect police and the public from immediate danger. In other words, they can interrogate the scumbag, who is tantamount to an enemy combatant, before he gets to lawyer up.

The more that comes out about the circumstances of their time in the United States, the worse is gets.
Tamerlan Tsarnaev was questioned by FBI in 2011 at the request of the Russian government over suspected ties to an extremist group. The questioning did not produce any “derogatory” information and the matter was put “to bed,” a US law enforcement source said.

Well, that was a fucking mistake.

As a matter of fact just 6 months ago, the Russians tipped the FBI to information that Tsarnaev had ties to extremists connected to a Boston mosque.

More:

Investigators are exploring potential links between Boston Marathon bombing suspect Tamerlan Tsarnaev and an extremist group known as the Caucasus Emirate.

The purported leader of the separatist and Islamic extremist group is Doku Umarov, a Chechen Islamic militant in Russia whose ordering of numerous attacks on civilians has earned him the nickname Russia’s Usama bin Laden.  The U.N.’s Al Qaeda sanctions committee has also cited Umarov for his alleged connections with Al Qaeda and other extremist groups.

The investigation is based on the contents of Tsarnaev’s YouTube channel and his trip to Russia in the first half of 2012, which included stops in Dagestan and Chechnya.

Law enforcement officials are scouring all travel records and electronic traffic connected to the two suspects in the Boston bombing, and have so far discovered that the older brother Tamerlan Tsarnaev made a prolonged trip to Russia in early 2012.

Officials are searching for clues as they try to determine whether one or both of the brothers had foreign training, or were directed by a foreign terrorist organization.

About a month after Tamerlan returned to the U.S. from Russia, he created a YouTube page that featured multiple jihadist videos from Abdul al-Hamid al-Juhani (radical muslim in Chechnya), and Feiz Mohammad, an extremist Salafi Lebanese preacher based in Australia.  There’s also a possibility that Tamerlan Tsarnaev was inspired by Doku Umarov, a Chechen terrorist known as “Russia’s Bin Laden”.

Fellow jihadists in the area:

The two men who own a BMW with the license plate ‘Terrorista #1’ and who are said to be friends with the younger Boston bombing suspect were taken into custody again on Saturday.

This time the two foreign nationals were arrested over alleged immigration violations in the Massachusetts town, New Bedford, where police say the surviving suspect, Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, may have once lived.

The students, named by neighbours by their first names Azmat and Diaz, drive a black BMW 330XI with the personalised plate and a sticker on the back which reads: ‘Fuck you, you fucking faggot’.

……They are thought to be from Kazakhstan and had not been seen since the bombings until Friday night when their ground floor apartment in New Bedford, MA, was raided by a dozen FBI agents at gunpoint.

One of their girlfriends was also arrested on Friday. All three are in their late teens or early 20s.

The three were subsequently released on Friday night before Saturday’s arrest of the two men.

Their apartment was raided because police say the younger Boston Marathon bombing suspect, 19-year-old Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, may have lived at their address.

……Two Russian speaking men in their early 20s later arrived at the apartment and told reporters they were journalists from the Boston Globe.

They then entered the apartment through an unlocked patio door. When asked what they were doing they said: ‘We are friends of theirs. They are talking, they are talking’ and closed the door.

As I said before, there are terrorists all over the United States.
