A bio:

Skypeck Enlisted In The U.S. Army In 1965. He served as a Special Warfare and Senior Intelligence Advisor in Vietnam during which he earned many medals, including a Purple Heart, two Bronze Stars, The Vietnamese Cross Of Gallantry, And The Combat Infantryman’s Badge. Released from military duty as a Captain, he attended the Massachusetts Institute Of Technology and holds two degrees from the University Of Massachusetts, including a Master’s in Public Administration.

His art is nationally known and has been displayed in several military installations, Boston City Hall, the U.S. House Of Representatives, and the Australian and West German governments.

Although Skypeck’s combat art is a product of the war in Vietnam, it transcends all wars, reflecting the pain, anguish, and private torment of those who have fought in armed conflict down through the ages.

His works serve as a constant reminder that our nation must never forget the men and women who have served in uniform to protect freedom.
“Sky” is a member of the famous Society Of Illustrators and the Salmagundi Club of the
New York City and its international affliliations as well as a member of several veterans organizations.

    George,
you have been an inspiration to me more than you know. My mother and father always talked about you and your brother withe the highest of regards and respect. I just wanted to thank you for everything you have done and continue to do for veterans and for your country.

  2. George,
You are one of my heroes. Your art is inspiring and beautiful. I am especially fond of the painting you did for the 25th Infantry Division (Tropic Lightning) since I am a veteran from that unit during the Hawaii-Vietnam era.
Thanks so much for your excellent work!
