Sanders loyalists bash Hillary nomination, clash with police…:
Sanders supporters who had spent the day protesting began facing off with police. Protesters began scaling 8-foot walls blocking off the secure zone around the arena parking lot, and several were detained. An officer sprayed one of the protesters.
The protests continued into the night with Sanders supporters and anti-police brutality protesters joining together. They marched in the street outside of the Wells Fargo Center. Later, someone set an Israeli flag on fire while people chanted “long live the intifada.”
Sanders supporters walked out after Hillary officially got the nomination.
Bubba Clinton’s lengthy speech omitted the crimes and scandals of his 90s regime. While Bubba was president, Hillary fired the Travel office and threatened them with FBI intimidation if they talked. She was heavily involved in the Whitewater scandal. She and Bubba illegally obtained FBI files on political enemies and lied about their existence, but they showed up on her desk after a couple of years of being “misplaced”. She was also involved in Bubba’s pardons of some pretty sleazy characters in exchange for cash and other favors. As a couple, they used the White House as a conduit for their own crime spree, including treason. (Chinagate)
Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton joined Barack Obama on stage following his speech at the Democratic National Convention Wednesday.
The two hugged and waved to the loudly cheering audience at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia.
Meanwhile, the scene outside of the arena was nothing short of chaos.
Protesters converged on the security fence around the Center and at one point were able to breach the gate. Several masked demonstrators were stopped by police and then arrested by the U.S. Secret Service, WPVI-TV reported.
We told them, ‘it’s a Federal fence.’ They decided to do it and were taken into custody immediately,” Police Commissioner Richard Ross said.
……Protesters tried to push through gate at Broad & Pattison. Cops rushed to push back.
Other demonstrators burned flags, and one woman was reportedly injured when her clothes caught fire from a burning flag.
Leon Panetta gets soundly booed:
Former Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta was hit with a chorus of boos while speaking Wednesday at the Democratic National Convention.
Panetta, who served less than two years under President Barack Obama, was doing his best to criticize GOP nominee Donald Trump, but many in the crowd — see unruly Bernie Sanders supporters — made the task difficult as they started chanting “no more war” and “lies.”
