The Hildabeast Gets Murtha’s Endorsement

Hillary just picked up an endorsement from John “the troops are cold-blooded murderers” Murtha.

Rep. John Murtha…..who caused an uproar on Capitol Hill in 2005 by calling for an end to the war in Iraq, announced Tuesday that he is supporting Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton for the Democratic nomination for president.

……Murtha is also one of the so-called superdelegates, prominent party officials and elected leaders who can side with any candidate.

Murtha’s statement said:

“I’ve known Senator Clinton for fifteen years. I know that she continually reaches out for opinions and ideas not just from our nation’s leaders, but from all Americans.

Oh yeah, she hasn’t asked this American.

“In ten months, President Bush will leave office. Our country is worse off today than when he took office over seven years ago.

“Senator Clinton is the candidate that will forge a consensus on health care, education, the economy, and the war in Iraq.”

“This week, she highlighted the policy failures in Iraq and addressed the real challenges we face in regards to rebuilding our military, restoring our readiness and fully preparing our armed forces to meet and deter future threats. I know that Senator Clinton has a similar position that I have in regards to the war in Iraq.

“Her experience and careful consideration of these issues convinced me that she is best qualified to lead our nation and to bring credibility back to the White House.”

If Hillary ever gets to inflict her socialist ideas on healthcare, Cuba’s dilapidated system will pale in comparison.

Our country is worse off?!? How? By pissing off you mealy-mouthed Democrats because we fought and defeated Islamofascist pigs who want to turn the United States and the rest of the world into a Caliphate? Future threats? The enemy we’re dealing with right now wasn’t a threat?

Hillary weighs in:

Democrat Hillary Clinton charged on Monday the Iraq war may end up costing Americans $1 trillion and further strain the economy, as she made her case for a prompt U.S. troop pullout from a war “we cannot win.”
……She said the war has sapped U.S. military and economic strength, damaged U.S. national security, taken the lives of nearly 4,000 Americans and left thousands wounded.

……It has already cost $500 billion.

Let’s see, we should cut and run from an enemy who wants to destroy Western civilization, America in particular, because it ‘costs too much’.

What price is this moron willing to pay for capitulation and craven unwillingness to protect and retaliate against vicious adversaries?

Oh yeah, some courageous Commander-in-Chief she’d be.

The American military stands between a network of terrorists and the threat of more catastrophic attacks against the United States, and all Murtha and Hillary can do is bad-mouth.

The sole purpose of Murtha, Hillary, and the rest of the motley crew of DemLeft moonbats, is to do as much damage to this country as possible. They are so preoccupied with molding our image in the likeness of European and Canadian milksops and fretting over non-offensive political correctness toward Middle Eastern troglodytes, they’ve forgotten they are sworn to defend the Constitution, and as part of the responsibility of being an elected official, the United States, against all enemies.

With domestic enemies like the Democrats, who needs foreign ones?

Some credibility.

Murtha’s been on a vitriolic tear for years.

A 2007 report from Iraq describing the success against the Al Qaeda  and the progress of re-building the infrastructure, drew this rant from Murtha:

I don’t know where they were staying. I don’t know what they saw. But I know this: that it’s not getting better”. “I dismiss it at as rhetoric. I dismiss it as — you know, in my estimation, the things that I measure are not — oil production, electricity production, water. Only two hours of electricity. I don’t know where they were staying. I don’t know what they saw. But I know this, that it’s not getting better. It’s rhetorical is what is getting better. It’s over-optimist. It’s an illusion.”

Murtha visited Iraq only once –in 2005 in Anbar province– and claims to have ‘assessed the ground situation while there’ .

He came back to announce “Iraq cannot be won”.

He never came anywhere near ground troops to get their assessment, and probably never left the comfort of his security entourage and accommodations.

Murtha, like Hillary, is quick to trump success in favor of animosity for the country.

Maybe she’ll pick him as a running mate.
