THE ONE Returns to Fox News, Tries to Sell ObamaCare

Steny Hoyer made the fatuous comment that Americans won’t “make the distinction” between the process and substance of the bill”, which is pure bullshit.

We care about both the process and the substance.

Now comes Obama to declare the same:

Obama is not worried — and doesn’t think Americans should worry — about the “procedural” debate over whether House Democratic leaders should go ahead with a plan to approve health care reform without a traditional vote, he told Fox News on Wednesday.

The president, in an interview with Fox News’  Bret Baier, responded for the first time to the controversy over a plan to use a parliamentary maneuver to allow the House to pass the Senate’s health care bill without forcing members to vote for it directly.

The esoteric procedure has drawn fierce protest from Republicans, who say Democrats are trying to avoid accountability. But the president said there will be no doubt about where lawmakers stand on health care reform.

There’s no doubt where America stands either, B. Hussein. Not that you make the distinction.

……Throughout the interview, the president repeatedly deflected questions about process.

Asked to respond to a viewer’s e-mail question about why he has to “bribe Congress to pass it,” Obama said, “I’ve got the same exact e-mails that I could show you that talk about why haven’t we done something to make sure that I, a small business person, am getting as good a deal as members of Congress are getting, and don’t have my insurance rates jacked up 40 percent?”

Except that under ObamaCare, it will be much worse.

……Obama expressed confidence that the health care bill will pass.
“And the reason I’m confident that it’s going to pass is because it’s the right thing to do,” he said.

This assclown has enough narcissism to fill a fucking warehouse.

Actually the right thing to do would be to scrap this piece of shit legislation and replace it with a bill that contains real constructive changes like tort reform, the ability to purchase insurance across state lines, and the preservation of the rights of individuals to choose their own private insurance and negotiate with their employer for programs that fit their needs.  And last but not least, the Constitutional mandated limit of government control and interference. But that will never happen as long as these corrupt, pompous, autocrats are in D.C. They do not care what Americans think; much less about the democratic republic they are sworn to protect.

Kudos to Brett for throwing some hardballs and calling him out on the idiocy of this universal socialist nightmare. While Obama droned on and on, sounding like a retarded broken record, Baier pressed him for direct answers and pretty much mopped the floor with him.

Meanwhile Chris “Tingles” Matthews had another sissy conniption over Fox News.

“You know, you know on this network, on this network if you listen to this network, there’s a lot of debate on MSNBC about this health care bill. Left versus center-left, whatever.”

Left versus center left? That’s what passes for “debate” on MSNBC.
