The States Ranked by Freedom

Hat Tip to Ben Swan.

The Mercatus Center at George Mason University released a comprehensive study, ranking the 50 states in terms of freedom.
The study states, “We score all 50 states on over 200 policies encompassing fiscal policy, regulatory policy, and personal freedom. We weight public policies according to the estimated costs that government restrictions on freedom impose on their victims.” See exactly how they break down and determine the rankings here.
How free is your state?

Spoiler alert: Not surprisingly, California and New York, two of the biggest leftwing bastions in the country, rank at the bottom.
Government encroachment on civil liberties, free market enterprise, and individual rights, has been steamrolling across the Constitution and the United States at an ominous pace.
If you value your freedoms, defend them. Take this country back.

“When the people fear the government, there is tyranny.  When the government fears the people, there is liberty”.

—–Thomas Jefferson

Yet another reason why we moved from the Peoples’ Democratic Republic of Maryland (#45) to the Volunteer State of Tennessee (#3). Haven’t regretted it for a second.
