From WND.
Obama’s left-leaning political ideology combined with sympathies for Islam acquired from being raised by a Muslim stepfather paralyze him as he faces the threat posed by the Islamic jihadist group ISIS, former House Majority Leader Tom DeLay told WND in an interview.
“In defending America against radical Islamic terrorism, Barack Obama cannot be trusted,” DeLay said.
“Barack Obama was raised a Muslim, and he claims he is a Christian, and I can’t say for sure whether he’s a Christian or not, but he has shown over the last few years that he has great sympathies with Islam,” DeLay explained.
The assertion has a ring of truth. Obama’s destruction of America is rooted in a toxic combination of Islam and Marxism.
“You combine that with Obama’s political orientation that is far to the left,” he continued, “and you get a president who hates war, hates the military, and you have a formula for military inaction when it comes to combating radical Islamic terrorists like we are seeing in ISIS.”
DeLay’s indictment of Obama did not end there.
“You add to mix that Barack Obama is incompetent, way over his head as president, and the whole combination produces a worldview that makes Obama detached and reluctant to take the type of the military action against ISIS that would be effective,” he said
DeLay concluded Obama “does not want to face the reality of the danger and threat represented to the United States by ISIS, and he does not want to admit the connections between al-Qaida and ISIS, because he refuses to understand that we are in a war against radical Islamic terrorism.”
Obama’s affinity for radical muslims is well documented. He shamelessly panders; celebrating the holidays of a brutal Islamic subculture, making apologies to them, and forcing Army Commanders to do the same. He lets them waltz through airport security, and gives aid to Hamas, the PLO, and the Muslim Brotherhood thugs in Egypt.
Anyone who studied Obama’s personality, Marxist philosophy and background, would have understood that he is totally unfit to lead a Democratic Republic.
Obama clearly hates this county and he’s done everything to prove it for the last five years and eight months.
American presidents do not pander to despots. They don’t bow to heads of Islamofascist states. They don’t go on apology tours to ingratiate themselves to “allies” who bristled at America’s lead in the war against Islamic aggression—while the rest of the world chose to criticize from the sidelines. They don’t defer to the U.N. They don’t renege on strategic missile agreements. And they damned sure don’t weaken America’s position in the world.
His scatterbrained handling of foreign policy, inept approach to the war on Islamofascism, and his Marxist abuse of our economy, is fucked up beyond belief.
His fans wanted a messsiah; a liberal savior who was supposed to be ‘the smartest guy in the room’.
What they got— inflicted on the rest of us—is a narcissistic sociopath and a dictator with visceral hatred of democracy.
If the GOP offers up a worthy candidate who is everything Obama isn’t—a patriotic person of integrity, character, and strength, someone who will put America’s interests first, who will honor the Constitution, and who will do what is necessary to bring back our economy, foreign policy, security, and national sovereignty—then we might be able to drag ourselves out of the socialist nightmare he inflicted.
Right now, the selection is pretty weak.

And to make matters worse, those who actually fit your parameters – and you know who they are — actively disdained and fought against by their their own party’s “leadership.”
John,
Yep, that’s true. The grassroots constituency is sick of the business as usual corruption, and until the GOP hierarchy gets it through their thick skulls, many disenfranchised Republican/Tea Party voters will stay home on election day. Looks like we’ll be stuck with the same shit, different day.

And yet RINOs like McConnell and my own senator – Lamar! – keep winning primaries and will, most likely, win in November. It’s sadly apparent that the Founders made a mistake when crafting the Constitution: they didn’t specify term limits. In their defense, though. it must be noted that the idea of career politicians was so alien to their way of thinking they can’t really be blamed for not considering something so unthinkable.
