The little mutherfucker was offficially charged with murder:
A Peruvian judge on Friday ordered Joran van der Sloot jailed on charges of first-degree murder and robbery in the killing of a 21-year-old Lima woman, determining he acted with “ferocity and great cruelty.”
Lima Superior Court Judge Juan Buendia issued the order before dawn and the 22-year-old suspect was taken in an armored truck with seven other prisoners to a holding cell in the basement of Lima’s judicial palace.
Police manhandled Mr. Van der Sloot as they ushered him quickly out of the truck, a blanket draped over his head. Two officers pushed his head down.
“Disgrace!” and “Murderer!” bystanders yelled. Some threw rotten vegetables at him.
Mr. Van der Sloot remains the lone suspect in the 2005 disappearance in Aruba of Natalee Holloway, and the chief of Peru’s criminal police said he told investigators that he knows the location of the U.S. teen’s body.
Police say Mr. Van der Sloot smashed in the face of Lima business student Stephany Flores, whom he met playing poker at a casino, after taking her to his hotel room on May 30. They say he then strangled her, threw her to the floor, emptied her wallet.
If convicted on the murder and robbery charges, Mr. Van der Sloot would be sentenced to between 15 and 35 years in prison….
Just duct tape his ass and throw him into the ocean.
Dutchman Joran van der Sloot, long the prime suspect in the 2005 disappearance of a U.S. teen in Aruba, has confessed to killing a young Peruvian woman in his Lima hotel room, a police spokesman said.
Peru’s chief police spokesman, Col. Abel Gamarra, told The Associated Press that Van der Sloot admitted under questioning Monday that he killed 21-year-old Stephany Flores on May 30.
Several Peruvian media reported that Van der Sloot killed Flores in a rage after learning she had looked up information about his past on his laptop without his permission. They did not name their sources for the information.
The newspaper La Republica said that he tearfully confessed, in the presence of a prosecutor and a state-appointed attorney, to grabbing Flores by the neck and hitting her because she had viewed photos and videos about the Aruba case on his computer while he was out buying coffee.
……Flores, a business student, was found beaten to death, her neck broken, in the 22-year-old Dutchman’s hotel room. Police said the two met playing poker at a casino.
Video from hotel security cameras shows the two entering Van der Sloot’s hotel room together at 5 a.m. Saturday and Van der Sloot leaving alone four hours later with his bags. Police say Van der Sloot also left the hotel briefly at 8:10 a.m. and returned with two cups of coffee and bread purchased across the street at a supermarket.
……Van der Sloot remains the prime suspect in the 2005 disappearance of Alabama teen Natalee Holloway, then 18, on the Caribbean resort island of Aruba while she was celebrating her high school graduation.
He was arrested twice in the case — and gave a number of conflicting confessions, some in TV interviews — but was freed for lack of evidence.
“Lack of evidence”, my ass. His parents obstructed the investigation and bribed Aruban authorities, who really just wanted the whole unpleasant affair to go away. Bad for tourism, and all that.
Peru does things a bit differently. His daddy, Paulus van der Sloot, kicked the bucket in February, and his mommy Anita won’t be able to buy or obstruct his way out of this murder.
His little extortion plan didn’t work out so well, either:
……Van der Sloot allegedly paid for his trip to South America by extorting money from Natalee Holloway’s mother. Prosecutors in Alabama say van der Sloot promised to tell Beth Holloway what really happened to her daughter in exchange for $250,000.
Now, on May 10th, Holloway transferred Van der Sloot $15,000 as a down payment. We have news about how that alleged crime occurred and who was watching. http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,594062,00.html
Someone should ask his mother how she feels about aiding and abeting a murderous psychopathic fuck. Good job, mom. Your little spawn killed two young women…that we know of. Unfortunately, Peru’s death penalty is limited to crimes of treason and terrorism. (As per the Pact of San Jose, Costa Rica, 1979) When convicted, he’ll draw a life sentence.
……According to newspaper La Republica, Van der Sloot admitted to police that he broke Flores’s neck after Flores, without permission, took his laptop and found out he was involved in the disappearance of Holloway. “I did not want to do it,” the newspaper reports Van der Sloot as saying. “The girl intruded into my private life.”
No shit? Maybe one of his future inmates will intrude into his cell and snap his scrawny neck.
