A photo of would-be assassin Thomas Crooks, that was circulated to law enforcement before the crazed gunman attempted to kill ex-president Donald Trump, has been released publicly.
……Later, around 5:30pm a picture of Crooks was circulated to various members of the Secret Service after reports about his suspicious behavior were made to security. The picture shows Crooks wearing a t-shirt with the logo for popular YouTube channel Demolition Ranch.
At some point, officers lost track of Crooks. He was next seen climbing to the roof of the American Glass Research building. Around seven minutes later, he opened fire on Donald Trump.
In the initial investigation, a remote detonator was recovered from Crooks’ dead body alongside his cellphone. It was then revealed that the detonator was connected to explosives that were found in his car.

…….a team of police snipers was stationed in the same single-story AGR International building that Crooks chose to fire from, and that they saw him outside three times in the minutes leading up to the attack.
A law enforcement official told CBS that no action was taken after one of the snipers first spotted Crooks looking up at the roof of the building.

At the time of the donation, Crooks was 17-years-old. He registered to vote upon turning 18 in September of that same year as a member of the GOP, records show.
Why Crooks fired on the presumptive Republican presidential nominee is unclear.

The other two victims, who are now listed in stable condition, have been identified as fellow Pennsylvanian’s David Dutch, 57, of New Kensington, and James Copenhaver, 74, of Moon Township.
Comperatore’s sister, Dawn Comperatore Schafer, said her brother died while trying to protect his daughter when gunfire rang out during Trump’s speech.
“The hatred for one man took the life of the one man we loved the most. He was a hero that shielded his daughters,” she wrote on Facebook.
