Hat Tip to Silence is Consent
If you listen to the President speak you get the sense that Barack Obama wants the Black Community to blame Whites and cops. These Black Chicago residents aren’t buying it. They’re putting the blame squarely on President Obama and Rahm Emanuel, the mayor of Chicago.
“He’s probably the the worst President ever elected. Have the same love for these (black) young people as you’ve got for the ones across the border.” the woman speaking in quotes is referring to illegal aliens coming across to the United States.
Many residents of Chicago understand that Obama has done nothing to help raise them out of a state of dependency. They want jobs. They want self-esteem. They want to raise their families and earn a paycheck. Obama and the Democrats continue to keep minorities down. Now that joblessness is so out of control, the youth living in these impoverished neighborhoods get out of control, the cops are called in and all hell breaks loose.
In a rare moment of lucidity, a black Chicago activist opined about Obama: “Was it all about using us?” “Was it all about getting all the people behind you to get you in the White House?”
Bingo, muthafucka. You won the booby prize.
For decades they’ve served as pawns for the DemProgs. They go along with their race-baiting, victimology, and racism against whites and their own people for not towing the Party line.
It gives them a demographic to exploit while mouthing platitudes about evil rich (white) corporate owners versus the workers. The myth of the Left being for the working class and minorities has been wrung for all it’s worth. It’s part and parcel of a party that uses exploitation as a campaign pitch for a target audience; a monolithic, easily manipulated voting bloc that is all too willing to participate. As a matter of fact, the Dems readily admit that throwing the race card is simply a tactic for political gain. They buy into the DemProgs’ bigotry of low expectations. That’s why they only live in certain places. If the majority of poor black communities actually got to a point where they break free of poverty, gangs, welfare, and the blight that afflicts their lives, the Dems would lose a large segment of their voting bloc.
DemProg-controlled governments push the race card for political and monetary gain. It’s a racket that’s been going on since LBJ’s “Great Society”.
To date, over $22 trillion has been spent on the ‘war on poverty’. It’s been a complete flop. It’s not just the Democrats’ fault. Republican presidents have signed the bills and Republican members of Congress have voted for them.
There are underlying issues for the crime and poverty in black communities, all of which have been fueled by a political agenda designed to keep them on the Dem plantation.
“You’re always going to be like this (we’ll see to it) but we’ll help you”.
The Demagogues nurture the conditions and the social conduct that spawns the riots and other violence predominant in black neighborhoods. They do this by feeding the maws of class warfare.
The Democrats have controlled America’s major urban areas for almost half a century. It’s a symbiotic relationship; they maintain power through the victimization of minorities. The entitlement culture will always expect a hand out, and the Dems will always be there to give it to them. Your color entitles you to special treatment. You’re downtrodden because the evil white folks made you ‘needy’. The bigotry of low expectations; it’s so much easier than personal accountability.
Maybe, just maybe, minorities are tired of being used as fodder in the Dems’ race war.
