A socialist trainwreck that will destroy our economy, and you can bet most of the ObamaCare zealots never read the bill they advocated.
As the president has yet to admit, the health care reform bill does not prevent insurance companies from excluding children with pre-existing conditions. HotAir’s Ed Morrissey points out a release from the Senate Republican Conference that showing a number of other omissions as well. Is it possible that the president hasn’t read his own bill?
Flashback to the health care summit:
President Barack Obama scolded Virgina Republican Rep. Eric Cantor for the stack of paper he brought with him to the health summit, calling it the type of political stunt that gets in the way of lawmakers having a serious conversation.
Cantor said he brought a copy of the 2,400-page Senate bill and the 11-page proposal Obama posted online earlier in the week.
Then flashback to Speaker Pelosi saying we have to pass the bill to find out what’s in the bill:
“But we have to pass the bill so that you can find out what is in it, away from the fog of the controversy.”
Maybe the Democrats shouldn’t pass 2,400-page bills if it means they won’t read them.
There are so many things included in the ObamaCare travesty that have nothing whatsoever to do with health care—reform or otherwise.
Among them: The takeover of student loans, federal purchases of Viagra and other erectile dysfunction drugs for sex offenders, culling revenue from Medicare, the egregious expansion of the IRS into a health care enforcement agency for those who don’t pay up. This monstrosity will also add billions to the deficit and debt. That is a power grab, not democracy.
If the Democrats are so eager to violate the Constitution and participate in the deconstruction and impoverishment of the country, they may as well read the damn thing.

Just sit there for a munute and watch the numbers climb. When I checked it a moment ago, the national debt was over 12,000,000,000,000. “The smartest guy in the room” wants to add to it with government-managed health care and more spending. His tax increases will cause more businesses to collapse. By the time he’s through, “destroyed” will be an understatement.
