Oh. My. Gawd. Can the Hollywood halfwits get any more stupid?:
Will Smith has stunned the world by declaring that even Nazi dictator Adolf Hitler was essentially a “good” person.
The Men In Black star, 39, is determined to see the best in people, and is convinced the former German leader did not fully understand the extent of the pain and suffering his actions would cause during his time in power in the 1930s and ’40s.
He says, “Even Hitler didn’t wake up going, ‘Let me do the most evil thing I can do today’.
“I think he woke up in the morning and using a twisted, backwards logic, he set out to do what he thought was ‘good’. Stuff like that just needs reprogramming.”
Hitler’s totalitarian leadership as Fuhrer during 1934 until his eventual suicide in 1945 resulted in the persecution of an estimated six million Jews in the Holocaust, and his invasion of Poland in 1939 led to the start of the Second World War.

Tinseltown denizens say the wackiest things, don’t they?
Hitler built the Autobahn and Mussolini’s trains ran on time, but they were still brutal despots.
Anne Frank wrote the words: “In spite of everything I still believe that people are really good at heart” before she and her family were dragged off to a concentration camp. The hearts of the Nazi camp guards and the Fuherer who led them were far from “good”.
FYI for Smith: Hitler hated Blacks as much as Jews.
An update:
A fuming Smith now claims to be “incensed” over what he calls a “ludicrous misinterpretation”.
The Hollywood A-lister, currently appearing in UK cinemas in the critically acclaimed I Am Legend, released an irate statement through his publicist, saying: “It is an awful and disgusting lie. It speaks to the dangerous power of an ignorant person with a pen. I am incensed and infuriated to have to respond to such ludicrous misinterpretation.”
Smith added: “Adolf Hitler was a vile, heinous vicious killer responsible for one of the greatest acts of evil committed on this planet.”
Lest anyone think he deserves a pass, consider his comments when asked if 9/11 affected him:
“No. Absolutely not. When you grow up black in America you have a completely different view of the world than white Americans. We blacks live with a constant feeling of unease. And whether you are wounded in an attack by a racist cop or in a terrorist attack, I’m sorry, it makes no difference.”
This is coming from a rich black entertainer who by virtue of his economic status and fame, is well insulated from the predominantly black on black crime taking place in inner city neighborhoods.
And as for the “white America” shit:
No one gave this Irish/Scots/German/Cherokee gal a free meal ticket in life. I worked for, and earned everything I’ve got. I grew up in a working class neighborhood with a variety of ethnic groups; Irish, Italian, Romanian, Serbian, Hungarian, Slovak, Czech, Polish, Hispanic, Black, you name it. I still live in the real America, Smith. Not the Ivory Tower you moved into.
Some actors don’t do very well without a script.
