12 GOP Apostles Dine With Obamessiah While McCain and Graham Trash Rand Paul’s Filibuster

During his filibuster against Obama’s CIA Director nominee John Brennan, Rand Paul showed something that’s rare in the Republican Party; guts.

Paul wrote a letter to Obama’s DOJ water boy, Eric Holder, and asked if Obama “has the power to authorize lethal force, such as a drone strike, against a U.S. citizen on U.S. soil, and without trial.”

Holder replied that there could be justification for deadly use of drones against Americans on American soil, without due process.  Holder noted that the possibility was “entirely hypothetical [and] unlikely to occur,” but cited a 9/11 type of attack that might provoke such a response.

That brought another response from Paul demanding to know if Obama would actually carry out such an attack. The problem was, no one could get a straight answer out of Obama or Holder, so Paul held the filibuster.

Meanwhile, Obama called up  Senator Lindsey “La Raza” Graham to arrange a dine and schmooze, and Graham gladly obliged.

The 12 GOP ass kissers who broke bread with the Obamessiah were: John McCain, Lindsey Graham, Ron Johnson, Tom Coburn, Kelly Ayotte, Mike Johanns, Pat Toomey, Saxby Chambliss, John Hoeven, Dan Coates and Richard Burr.

John McCain, one of the oldest eunuchs in the GOP, promptly called Senator Justin Amash and Senator Ted Cruz “wacko birds” for defending Rand Pauls’ speech.

Justin Amash replies via Twitter:

Justin Amash@repjustinamash
Sen McCain called @SenRandPaul @SenTedCruz & me “wacko
birds.” Bravo, Senator. You got us. Did you come up with that
at #DinnerWithBarack?

The newly-smitten Graham for his part, called the filibuster ‘ridiculous’, and criticized Paul for daring to question The Anointed One: “I find the question offensive,” he said.

I find the behavior of those 12 craven toadies highly offensive.  While the 12 turds wined and dined with Emperor B. Hussein, Paul had the temerity to stand on the floor of the senate and bring attention to at least one of Obama’s discretionary tactics.

On the other hand, conservative pundit Charles Krauthammer praised Paul:

Stroke of political genius. He will be remembered. This raises his image, and he’s completely sincere about this. This will be a moment that people will say has launched him as a national figure.

Would Obama give an order to attack American citizens on American soil?  It depends on which citizens you’re talking about. He probably has nightly wet dreams about targeting Tea Party patriots, Bill of Rights advocates, and outspoken critics of his socialist tyranny.

Muzzie terrorists, union thugs, Statists, and ‘Occupy’ mobs would be exempt, of course.

Said Holder:

“Were such an emergency to arise, I would examine the particular facts and circumstances before advising the President on the scope of his authority”…

Emergency…like seizing total control of the nation’s communications network, declaring war on rights guaranteed under the Second Amendment, and abuse of executive power.

After the filibuster, Holder relented and said “no, Obama does not have the authority”.

Said Paul : “I’m disappointed it took a month and a half and a root canal to get it, but we did get the answer.”

Obama doesn’t have the authority to do a lot of the shit he’s pulled, but that hasn’t stopped him. He simply thumbs his nose at the constitution and signs another executive order that extends his unauthorized power.

If McCain and Graham really believe that drone scenario has never crossed Obama’s mind, they haven’t paid much attention to his crime spree.
