Conspicuously absent is any mention of democracy  and freedom  in the name of security.

Obama on Afghanistan and Iran:

The incoming Obama administration plans to explore a more regional strategy to the war in Afghanistan — including possible talks with Iran — and looks favorably on the nascent dialogue between the Afghan government and “reconcilable” elements of the Taliban, according to Obama national security advisers.

That’s part of his ‘negotiate without preconditions’ crap. Last I checked there weren’t a whole hell of a lot of “reconcilable” elements in any terrorist organization. They’re all pretty set on blowing up Western Civilization and the ‘infidels’ in the name of Allah.

Iran test fired a new, more accurate surface-to-surface missile, the country’s defense minister said Wednesday, in a fresh effort to enhance Tehran’s military might.

The test comes as speculation brews over a possible U.S. or Israeli strike against Iran’s nuclear facilities, which are believed to be a front for a weapons development program.

“It [the missile] will only fall on the Islamic republic’s enemies who want to attack and invade the Islamic Republic of Iran,” Iranian Defense Minister Mostafa Mohammed Najjar told the AFP.

It’s gonna be fun watching this timorous little fruitcake try his spineless ‘negotiation’ with the likes of Iran, the whole time Ahmadinejad is loading his missles.
