Leftwing radical lawyers and illegal alien apologists want to know why we have to use force.
The American Civil Liberties Union and more than 30 immigrant (READ: ILLEGAL) rights groups are calling on Congress to hold hearings on the “grave abuses of lethal force” by federal agents patrolling the U.S.-Mexico border.
The groups sent letters this week to the chairmen of five House and Senate committees, urging a review of use-of-force training and policies for Customs and Border Protection officers.
During the past month, federal agents killed two illegal immigrants in separate incidents along the border, and migrant activists worry that the deployment of more than 1,000 National Guard troops to the southwestern border could lead to more deaths.
“These incidents will continue unless the federal government regulates the use of force at the border by federal agents,” state the letters, which are identical. “As meaningful security cannot coexist with law enforcement cultures of impunity and recklessness, we urge you to use your oversight responsibilities to ensure that our nation’s CBP officers are adequately trained and that CBP and the Department of Homeland Security have clear and transparent systems in place to hold accountable officers who do not follow the agency’s rules and procedures.”
……On June 7, a cell phone video captured a U.S. Border Patrol agent shooting and killing 15-year-old Sergio Adrian Hernandez Huereca, who had been among a group of illegal immigrants trying to cross the riverbed of the Rio Grande that divides Ciudad Juarez and El Paso, Texas. Witnesses said several shots were fired after people on the Mexican side of the border began throwing rocks at the agent. Mexican authorities are calling the killing a murder, and U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder called the incident “extremely regrettable.” The Associated Press on Friday reported that Huereca had been arrested four times on suspicion of smuggling illegal immigrants, though he was never charged.

We haven’t used enough deadly force. This is not “immigration”; we are being invaded.
This is the solution: Secure the border with a wall, supplemented with guard towers, high-powered rifles with scopes, night-vision equipment, roving patrols, tracking dogs, and motion sensors. Give the Border Patrol the weaponry they need to do their job. Have the Army Corps of Engineers on hand to seek and destroy the underground tunnels already in existence or currently being dug by South-of the Border thugs. This is not an extreme suggestion, considering that illegal aliens and terrorists, with the support of the Mexican government, have been able to infiltrate at will. The Mexican Army has contributed to this crime by crossing into U.S. territory and shooting at the U.S. Border Patrol. I don’t know what they call that in the Senate, but in my Army we call it an act of war. The Mexican government, headed by yet another of string of corrupt politicians, has yet to fix their country or stem the tide of illegals. They in fact, encourage them. It should not be the duty of the United States and our tax-paying legal residents to pick up the slack for a country that refuses to economically haul itself into the 21st century.
