…….militant activists have taken over a six-block section of Seattle, including an abandoned police precinct, and declared it the “Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone,” releasing a list of demands that must be met before they relinquish control of the area. One of those demands was a 100 percent defunding of the Seattle Police Department, including pensions, with the money being redirected toward things like free public housing and socialized medicine.
Those in the autonomous zone have no love for the police, but it seems that they need someone to keep order in their new country. Reports say that the zone has its own “warlord” now, who had a run-in with a vandal spray-painting a business.
Meanwhile, the leftard scatterbrain Washington governor says he has no clue about the takeover and actually chuckled when asked about it:

Seattle police say they have received reports of armed guards and potential extortion in a self-declared autonomous zone that spans several blocks and includes a now-closed precinct.
“We’ve heard, anecdotally, reports of citizens and businesses being asked to pay a fee to operate within this area. This is the crime of extortion. If anyone has been subjected to this, we need them to call 911,” Assistant Chief of Police Deanna Nollette said on Wednesday.
The states and cities run by Dems are falling apart and being overrun by the terrorist anarchists they aid and abet. Just wait until the mob of SJWs decides to pay a visit to the homes and offices of the Dem politicians who encourage them when pandering isn’t enough.
