The Army needn’t look very far to find proof of Bowe Bergdahl’s desertion and subsequent treason. His behavior raised red flags all over the place. He stacked his gear up in a nice neat little pile, left a note saying he was running away, and he fled right into the enemy camp.
Another of his former platoon mates gave testimony before Congress:
Army SPC Cody Full testified before the House Middle East and North Africa Terrorism & Nonproliferation Subcommittee regarding Bergdahl’s state of mind and actions leading up to his desertion from his unit.
“It is clear to me that he had a plan and executed it,” said SPC Full. “Knowing that someone you needed to trust deserted you in war and did so on his own free will is the ultimate betrayal.” He continued with his prepared statement: “You should not be able to desert your fellow Americans without consequences. Bowe Bergdahl should not be characterized as having served with honor and distinction.”
Full concluded his comments with a list of charges including “desertion, missing movement, disrespect towards a superior commissioned officer, insubordinate conduct towards a non-commissioned officer, failure to obey order or regulation, misbehavior before the enemy, and misconduct as a prisoner.”
The Obama regime has spun this into the ground, ignored the Soldiers who gave the ultimate sacrifice looking for his worthless ass, and bad-mouthed and slandered Bergdahl’s fellow platoon mates who unlike him, served with honor.
If this doesn’t demonstrate the Democrats’ visceral hatred of the United States military, nothing will.

There is no specified wording for a declaration of war in the Constitution; what President Bush asked for – and got – sure passes muster from where I stand.

I agree, mainly because his former platoon mates testified that not long after Bergdahl deserted, the attacks on their convoys, patrols, and base camp got more methodical and precise. He had to have given the Taliban tactical information for that to happen. He not only deserted his post, he committed treason.
