Vice President Joe Biden joined House Democrats in lashing tea party Republicans Monday, accusing them of having “acted like terrorists” in the fight over raising the nation’s debt limit, according to several sources in the room.
Biden was agreeing with a line of argument made by Rep. Mike Doyle (D-Pa.) at a two-hour, closed-door Democratic Caucus meeting.
“We have negotiated with terrorists,” an angry Doyle said, according to sources in the room. “This small group of terrorists have made it impossible to spend any money.”
Biden, driven by his Democratic allies’ misgivings about the debt-limit deal, responded: “They have acted like terrorists.”Biden’s office initially declined to comment about what the vice president said inside the closed-door session, but after POLITICO published the remarks, spokeswoman Kendra Barkoff said: “The word was used by several members of Congress. The vice president does not believe it’s an appropriate term in political discourse.”

During the union protests against Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker’s budget/collective bargaining bill, they made death threats, and ransacked offices to steal recall petitions.
The terroristic violence and intimidation on the part of your lunatic fringe should be listed on Janet Reno’s domestic terrorist assessment.
We’re terrorizing you, alright. We put a big fucking hurt on your socialist oligarchy by ousting most of them from Congress in the 2010 midterm elections. We pushed the elected Republican representatives to get back to the Constitution and reign in Big Government.
The Tea Party movement is dismissed, disrespected, and denigrated by leftwingnut politicians, pundits, and mainstream media hacks. It’s composed of a cross-section of America—average people—who are fed up with the hubris of elected officials who ignore our concerns and our rights.
That’s what scares the living shit out of socialist effete; that ordinary Americans stand up to them and the junior Jesus in the White House, and demand that they actually respect us and the Constitution.
This time it’s different. The Silent Majority has suddenly become vocal. The sheeple aren’t behaving according to the proscribed business as usual etiquette.
