Dem Congresswoman: ‘Racism to Blame for Black Unemployment’

When the Left runs out of other excuses, blame “racism”.

“When you look at African American males, 40% of them are unemployed, those under 30 years of age. I understand exactly the entire nation must be involved in this recovery but the black community is experiencing a great recession. That’s what we’re experiencing,” Rep. Frederica Wilson (D-FL) told MSNBC.

“And all of the growth in the past 30 years, we see it slipping away. From home ownership, the middle class; it’s slipping away from our hands. And it has a lot to do with many issues. Racism, shipping jobs overseas, access — no access to technology. You know, the digital divide is there and many of the new jobs that’s what it requires. So, we have a problem.”

If they graduated from school, pulled their pants up, turned their hats around, quit being ‘gangstas’, and stopped blaming their own criminal records on ‘whitey’, they might get employed.  
Black politicians like Wilson make a habit out of resurrecting the corpse of slavery and color discrimination to compensate for lack of work ethic and personal accountability. I’m a retired Soldier who was raised in a working class family. I had to earn everything I have. No one gave me a free meal ticket because I’m “white”. You want hyphens, Wilson? I got hyphens. I’m Irish-Scots-German-Cherokee. I never got ‘affirmative action’ credits for it, either.

Lots of people are included in the 16.2% unemployment.  When jobs move overseas, “white” people become unemployed, too.  When banks foreclose on a home, they don’t care about the skin color of the occupants.  Besides, wasn’t the Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac/TARP welfare program supposed to take care of that? Wasn’t Obama supposed to be the black jesus lord and savior who was going to put gas in their car and pay their mortgage?

To top it off, Wilson spews the requisite leftard insult at the Tea Party:

“Let us all remember who the real enemy is. The real enemy is the Tea Party — the Tea Party holds the Congress hostage. They have one goal in mind, and that’s to make President Obama a one-term president,” Rep. Frederica Wilson (D-FL) said at a Miami town hall with constituents.

You mean like when the Dems held democracy hostage, shut the American people out of the process, and passed an unconstitutional ObamaCare bill?  The Tea Party movement helped kick many of Wilson’s fellow Dems to the curb during the mid-term elections.  We’re going to do everything we can to make sure Obama is a one term screw-up. You can bet your ass on it, Frederica.  We are your worst enemy.
