I live in a Dem stronghold in North central Ohio, 30 miles west of Cleveland. I’ve seen the effects of Dem/union influence on the economy. Our area is devastated, yet the population keeps putting the same type of Dem idiots in office every election cycle. There’s nothing flumoxing about the established fact that 99.9% of blacks vote democrat. They’ve been a Dem voting bloc for decades. The Dems are more concerned with using class warfare as a pandering tactic than actually doing what it takes to get this country economically stable once again. Your “filthy rich minority” statement proves exactly what I’ve been saying about the leftwingnut mindset. Business people who have achieved success through hard work, monetary investment, and perseverence, are demonized by a shit-for-brains Alinskyite who never ran a business in his life. Obama only cares about the poor for political purposes. He doesn’t give a rat’s ass about the Middle Class either. He’s done everything he can to destroy it. Every one of his policies has either bankrupted industries or the taxpayer’s wallets through bailouts, “stimulus”, and failed Keynesian tactics. You do realize that food stamp applications have skyrocketed since he took office, don’t you?
The real paradox is poor minorities voting for a political machine that prefers to keep them trapped in poverty so they can be used as pawns against business owners; the very job creators that Obama and his merry band of socialists villify. Your “safety net” is a taxpayer-draining cradle-to-grave Nanny State.

If as you say, our country is “only as strong as our weakest citizen”, then you’d better light a fire under the ass of that welfare queen with 15 kids who takes advantage of the public teat and passes that along to her children as if it were a fucking family heirloom.

“Affordable healthcare” under ObamaCare won’t be affordable or very good. Have you bothered to read the bill??? I have. If you cannot afford health insurance to begin with, the IRS will simply take what the government deems as your “fair share”; garnishment of wages and even your income tax return when you file. Death Panels in the form of an Independent Payment Advisory Board will determine if you’re sick enough to treat and if the government thinks you’re worth it. If you’re elderly, you will just have to “take that pill”, as Obama told one questioner when she talked about her mother’s medical care. Just wait until 2014. If the ObamaCare Frankestein isn’t kicked to the curb, you’re gonna find out just what the term horrendous means.

By the way, I come from a working class background. No one gave me or my family a meal ticket because I’m “caucasian”. Actually, I’m a mix of Irish, Scots, German, and Cherokee. My environment was far from prosperous. My mother raised 7 kids, mostly by herself. We all worked. My two older step sisters worked two part time jobs, and my mother worked to make ends meet. We believe in a helping hand, not a handout.

Parents are supposed to set an example of values, principles, and work ethic to help their kids have a better life than they did. The opportunities are there. You have to do something besides sit on your ass and complain about how unfair it is that the eeeeevil rich have so much money. Ordinary rational humans wouldn’t want to destroy their countries’ economy and penalize wage-earners with more taxation. But, that’s the goal of the class-warfare neo-Bolsheviks in the White House and the Democratic party.
