Here is a strong indicator that the Obama Administration’s crusade to appease Islam has gone too far; a new U.S. military handbook for troops deployed to the Middle East orders Soldiers not to make derogatory comments about the Taliban or criticize pedophilia, among other outrageous things.
It gets better; the new manual, which is around 75 pages, suggests that Western ignorance of Afghan culture— not Taliban infiltration—is responsible for the increase in deadly attacks by Afghan soldiers against the coalition forces.
The soon-to-be-released Army handbook is still being drafted, but a mainstream newspaper got a sneak preview and published an article that should infuriate the American taxpayers funding the never-ending war on terror. The manual is being created because someone with authority bought the theory that cultural insensitivity is driving insider attacks on U.S. troops in Afghanistan.
More than three dozen insider attacks have killed 63 members of the U.S.-led coalition this year, according to the article, and some blame “American cultural ignorance.” The bottom line is that troops may experience social-cultural shock and/or discomfort when interacting with Afghan security forces, the new military handbook says. “Better situational awareness/understanding of Afghan culture will help better prepare [troops] to more effectively partner and to avoid cultural conflict that can lead toward green-on-blue violence.”
The draft leaked to the newspaper offers a list of “taboo conversation topics” that Soldiers should avoid, including “making derogatory comments about the Taliban,” “advocating women’s rights,” “any criticism of pedophilia,” “directing any criticism towards Afghans,” “mentioning homosexuality and homosexual conduct” or “anything related to Islam.”
At least one high-ranking military official had the backbone to publicly criticize the new manual, albeit through a spokesperson. U.S. Marine General John Allen, the top commander in Afghanistan, doesn’t endorse it and rejected a proposed forward drafted by Army officials in his name. “He does not approve of its contents,” according to a military spokesman quoted in the story.
This piece of shit was put together by the Center for Army Lessons Learned, which hasn’t learned anything about fighting a war against an enemy who wants us all dead.

The new handbook pulled information from a 2011 study titled “A Crisis of Trust and Cultural Incompatibility,” which sought to explain why Afghan security forces and American Soldiers harbored a “simmering disdain for their counterparts,” the WSJ reports.
The 2011 study was headed by Maj. Jeffrey Bordin, who is now serving as the Army center’s liaison to Gen. John Allen in Kabul. Using Bordin’s conclusions, the new draft Army handbook looks to prepare troops psychologically for serving in Afghanistan.
“We are very serious in trying to solve this problem, so we are not discounting any insights that we think are useful,” Gen. David Perkins said. “We are pulling out all the stops to do everything we can to gather lessons learned.”
Bordin’s 2011 study was based on interviews with 600 members of the Afghan security forces and 200 American Soldiers. Some U.S. Soldiers said that Afghan forces engage in thievery, are “gutless in combat,” are “basically stupid,” “profoundly dishonest” and engage in “treasonous collusion and alliances with enemy forces.”
If United States Soldiers say that Afghan forces “engage in thievery, are “gutless in combat,” are “basically stupid,” “profoundly dishonest” and engage in “treasonous collusion and alliances with enemy forces”, it’s because they get an up close and personal taste of what the Afghans do every fucking day. We shouldn’t be “building alliances” with any of them. Spit in any direction over there and you’ll hit an enemy combatant. We should be killing them, not getting in touch with the feelings of muslim cutthroats.
A culture of rabid muslims, fueled by a the screed of a 7th century Islamic wackjob, declared war on us. They declared war on Jews, Christians, Pagans, Wiccans, atheists, agnostics, and every other belief/non belief unassociated with Islam. Their prophet declared war on Western civilization in 692AD, and they’ve been engaged in that war ever since.
They want all of us dead or subjugated to a new world Caliphate. General Dempsey and the rest of the gutless wonders in the E-ring, are more concerned with the sensitivities of the enemy than killing them.
This is the same Pentagon that has a habit of hiring muslim jihadists and harassing those who confront that bat-shit crazy policy. Just ask Major Stephen Coughlin.
The Joint Chiefs of Staff are some of the worst chickenshits I’ve ever seen. They fail to understand that there’s actually a war going on, which is pretty fucked up given that they’re supposed to be managing our end of it. We’re up against a brutal enemy that enjoys the lavish attention bestowed on them by a kowtowing DOD. We need real military leaders at the top, not craven politicians. While Dempsey is busy scrubbing the military of all vestiges of common sense and warrior ethos, the Islamic-inspired enemy is killing us.
Rather than do what we went there for—annihilate the source of modern terrorism—they want us to bow and scrape to Islam; to blame Soldiers for their deaths at the hands of an enemy we should be slaughtering out of existence. Can you imagine the Army leadership in WWII concocting a piece of tripe that instructed Soldiers “not to be mean” to the Nazis, Imperialist Japs, and Fascist Italians? Patton and MacArthur are spinning in their graves.

I am so glad I retired in 2006. I feel so sorry for the Soldiers who have to serve under a quisling SCOAMF and his Dhimmi military commanders.

As a veteran of gw1, I am sickened by this collusive, embarrasing, stupid approach to fighing this war, and somebody please, PLEASE explain to me, why the f. are we even there? Get these boys home and do what you can to protect the U.S.A. from the taliban on our own turf. If that is indeed possible with the islamic sympathizing traitor we have as our so-called “commander in cheif.” MY ASS. You cannot win the hearts and minds of the heartless and the mindless. My standard response is this: Obama wants to engage in a fatuous “muslim outreach” policy, which only serves to encourage their extremist nature. He changed an aggressive counter-terrorism strategy to an “overseas contingency” against “outliers”. But then again, he’s a Dhimmi and a total waste of skin.
When you attack an enemy, you don’t half-step. You attack us, we annihilate you, your supporters, your friends, and the fucking camel you rode in on. The Islamists declared war on America, if not Western civilization. The problem is––and this cannot be stressed enough––is that the enemy has patience. They understand us better than we understand them. Islamic terrorists are trained, funded, supported, and indoctrinated across the Middle East. I’d have neutron-bombed 3/4ths of that cesspool on 12 September 2001. THAT’s how you fight a jihad. But I’m a former Soldier and Iraq War vet, not a politician.
Unless or until we are willing to reciprocate with the same brutality, they will be back. Til then, this war ain’t over by a long shot.
