Eric Holder Throws the Race Card Again and Claims Immigration Laws are ‘Being Enforced’

He talks an awful lot of shit for someone who should be up on charges for gunrunning and abuse of office.

Attorney General Eric Holder said Sunday he and President Obama have been targets of “a racial animus” by some of the administration’s political opponents.

“There’s a certain level of vehemence, it seems to me, that’s directed at me [and] directed at the president,” Holder told ABC. “You know, people talking about taking their country back. … There’s a certain racial component to this for some people. I don’t think this is the thing that is a main driver, but for some there’s a racial animus.”

Yes we want our country back; from megalomaniacs who engage in big government grabs, trample on the Constitution, and use their public office as a conduit for crimes.  As for the animus toward Obama; it couldn’t be that he’s a narcissistic sociopath with a visceral hatred of America.  It’s just because he’s (half) black.

The  racist filth flung at black Republicans and Tea Party members by the Left is apparently not enough animus for Holder.

Holder said the nation is in “a fundamentally better place than we were 50 years ago.”

No, it’s not.

“We’ve made lots of progress,” he said. “I sit here as the first African-American attorney general, serving the first African-American president of the United States. And that has to show that we have made a great deal of progress.

“But there’s still more we have to travel along this road so we get to the place that is consistent with our founding ideals,” he said.

The ideals put forth by the founders didn’t include out-of-control hubris, they wanted a limited federal government with an emphasis on states’ rights.

He also stood by his controversial comments made during Obama’s first year in office, in which he said the U.S. was a “nation of cowards” when it comes to race.

I responded to Holder’s “cowards” statement  back in 2009.  The real cowards are assholes like Holder who use skin color as an excuse for their own fuckups and malfeasance.

There isn’t one ethnic group on this earth who hasn’t been kicked around or done its own kicking. Some people may have a terminal case of white guilt, but I have no reason to feel guilty. I will never apologize for my ancestry, heritage, or skin color. Get over it.

And incidentally, it’s human nature to be prejudiced and wary of others, regardless of color. It’s part of thousands of years of survival and evolution.

Where in the hell is all this privilege I’m supposed to have because I’m white? My environment was far from prosperous. I come from a working class family in a racially diverse neighborhood. My mother raised 7 kids, mostly by herself. We all worked. My two older step sisters worked two part time jobs, and my mother worked to make ends meet. It was a hell of a struggle. I joined the Army at the age of 18 and served a total of 30 years (20 Active, 10 reserve).  My skin color didn’t exempt me from two combat tours in Iraq. My Associates Degree was earned at a community college because that’s all my GI Bill and pocket could afford. My pension is still not enough to cover all the bills, but I still have Social Security to look forward to. Whoopie. No one gave me a free meal ticket because I’m a hyphenated ‘Caucasian’.

Anyone who has a problem with that can kiss my bare white ass.

And of course, what would race-baiting talking points be without the alluding to “voting rights”:

The attorney general also pointed to Republican efforts to enact stricter voter ID laws in southern States as evidence that more needed to be done to protect minority rights. Republicans have maintained the efforts are designed to prevent voter fraud, while Democrats say instances of fraud are exceedingly rare, and far outpaced by the minority population that does not have identification that would be unable to vote.

Holder called the laws “political efforts” designed to make it “more difficult” for “groups that are not supportive of those in power” to “have access to the ballot.”

“Who is disproportionately impacted by them? Young people, African Americans, Hispanics, older people, people who, for whatever reason, aren’t necessarily supportive of the Republican Party,” Holder said, adding that “this notion that there is widespread in-person voter fraud is simply belied by the facts.”

Holder said the Justice Department was planning legal challenges of new voting laws in Ohio and Wisconsin. It has previously filed suit in Texas and North Carolina.

The real point of that “dog whistle” is Holder’s efforts to make illegal aliens a permanent part of the Dem voting bloc.

Holder also makes the fatuous claim that the immigration laws are being enforced:

“Let me just say this: Our immigration laws are broken,” Holder said. “It’s why we need comprehensive immigration reform.”

He said that the administration would make sure that they continue to follow the law in the face of criticisms from both sides of the aisle of their handling of the issue.

The immigration laws are not being enforced. The Obama regime routinely ignores the immigration laws and instructs the ICE to do the same.

Meanwhile, one of Holder’s top priorities is to investigate a parade float that made fun of Obama.  There must be a law that prohibits free speech.  This is the same douchebag who refused to prosecute the Black Panthers for voter intimidation and won’t prosecute Lois Lerner for her role in Obama’s discrimination against Tea Party groups.

Holder has got to be the only Attorney General in American history who has never read the laws or understood them.  He’s either the most incompetent fuck ever to hold the office or he’s a goddamned liar. Take your pick.
