(Cleveland) – 21-year old Army Specialist Jason Cox was due to come back from a one year tour of duty in Iraq in just a few short weeks, on July 12th. Unfortunately, he was killed by an improvised explosive device while in Iraq on June 16th.
Cox’s body arrived at Cleveland Hopkins International Airport on a commercial flight Wednesday. Army spokesperson Capt. Todd Gore says Cox’s family chose to have his body flown in on a commercial flight, so the people of Cleveland could see him come home.
