The sheriff’s office in Orange County, Fl., has already experimented with two domestic surveillance drones that it plans to use over metro Orlando starting this summer, the Orlando Sentinel reports. The drones would not be armed, but would be used to track down criminals, terrorists and illegal immigrants, as well as be used for environmental monitoring and wildfire surveillance, according to the Congressional Research Service (CRS).
Janet ‘Big Sis’ Napolitano wants to deploy military drones to keep tabs on the citizenry. They’re already in use at the U.S.-Mexican border, and we can see how well that deters illegals from traipsing across. Right.
The surveillance, Janet insists, will be in the interest of “public safety”. Really?? How about flying a few of those drones over Jamaat al Fuqra training camps, Muslim Brotherhood facilities, and CAIR headquarters, instead of suicidal ass-kissing in the name of “muslim outreach”.
Government encroachment into our individual rights has reached a particularly vicious level. As long as Americans put up with the trampling on our Bill of Rights, the federal government will gladly continue.
