UPDATE 2/25/18: Political hacks & opportunists continue to blame the props, not the perps.
Mark Kelly, Mr. Gabrielle Giffords, buying an assault rifle. Delicious. No doubt hoping to ride the hot button issue surrounding his wife’s tragedy to political office. Kelly’s explanation gets sillier by the minute. One has to sympathize with the ordeal of being shot. One does not have to sympathize with the exploitation of that ordeal to inflict one’s blatantly political agenda on millions of perfectly responsible American adults. If Giffords had been run over by a drunk driver, would she and her husband now be lobbying for a ban on cars and a return to Prohibition? Adding to the irony is this gruesome recent incident where Kelly allowed his [unleashed, untrained] dog to kill a baby seal on a beach. Perhaps dogs should be banned along with guns. Or does it still come back, once again, to that pesky thing about personal responsibility, not dogs or guns?

And now she’s [willingly through an Obamaesque ghost writer] being used as one of Obie’s Kids, one of a long parade of useful shooting victims rolled out before the media to teary effect for the purpose of confiscating firearms nationwide.

Kelly pulled his stunt not long after his wife was shot by deranged wackjob Jared Loughner, who passed a background check before killing 6 people and wounding 13 in Tucson.
Armed criminals and psychopaths deliberately choose soft, unarmed targets. They couldn’t give one shit less about the idea of restrictive gun laws. Every law-abiding American citizen has the right to defend themselves from low life thugs and deranged morons.
Politicians who want to push through stupid laws that only affect law-abiding citizens and diminish Second Amendment rights, have a shit factory for a brain.
