Professor Cyrille Cohen is head of Immunology at Bar Ilan University and a member of the advisory committee for vaccines for the Israeli Government. In a wide-ranging and forthright interview, the Professor tells Freddie Sayers:
The Green Pass / vaccine passport concept is no longer relevant in the Omicron era and should be phased out (he expects it to be in short order in Israel)
He and his colleagues were surprised and disappointed that the vaccines did not prevent transmission, as they had originally hoped.
The biggest mistake of the pandemic in Israel was closing schools and education. Widespread infection is now an inevitable part of future immunity — otherwise known as herd immunity.
Omicron has accelerated the pandemic into the endemic phase, in which Covid will be “like flu””
At 0742 into the video:
REPORTER: Are you now of the view that vaccine passports should be got rid of, phased out because they’re no longer relevant in the omicron era?
COHEN: Yeah, I tend to think so. // Even, even if, the Omicron actually is causing a lot of, you know, breakthrough not great for infection, but reinfections, you know, people that are vaccinated and, you know, secondary infections, it’s at their onset. We have to take into account that still the virus is better at immunizing than the vaccine.

Watch the entire interview. He goes into great detail about the mistakes the medical community made in throwing all its efforts into a vax that they thought was a panacea, instead of letting the virus run its course with peoples’ immune systems.
The only comment I take issue with is: “I think that vaccination is a personal choice. And I always said I believe it is so. But… that choice has some consequences. And here, there is a problem in society. If you are over 50, 60, and you’re saying I don’t want to get vaccinated, will you be…willing to renounce on the possibility of getting taken care of in hospitals?”
I am over 60. I had Covid as did other members of my family. We recovered just fine. Which means we now have natural immunity. We did not take any vax pushed by the government, and we are perfectly fine without the possibility of getting ‘taken care of in hospitals’.
I think Dr. Cohen would agree that if you have mitigating pre-existing medical conditions—i.e. diabetes, cancer, heart disease, morbid obesity, kidney disease—the last thing you want to do is take a vax that runs the risk of damaging an immune system that’s already compromised.
There are thousands of doctors like Dr. Cohen who understand the ramifications of the induced panic and the harm caused by the unnecessary lockdowns and forced government mandates.
Some countries are getting a clue:
Well, we’ve known that for more than a year. Our own CDC found that natural immunity provided more protection against delta variant of COVID than vaccination did. Professor Cohen went on to apologize for the biggest mistake of the pandemic: shutting down schools and forcing children to stay home, which destroyed a generation. It turns out there was no scientific basis for doing that at all. It was all teachers’ unions wanting more time off. Omicron, the professor said, will turn this pandemic into the endemic phase. It’ll be like the flu, a widespread but mild illness. Everybody gets it, and very few are badly hurt by it. And we should proceed accordingly.
……Great Britain, which has been almost hysterical in the face of COVID, has come to the same conclusion. So today, as Joe Biden pushed everyone to take a third COVID shot, calling it the optimum protection you can have — except for natural immunity, which tends to be much more effective. As he was saying that and being ignored. Boris Johnson, the prime minister of Great Britain, announced an end to all mandates and all lockdowns in Great Britain, including in schools. Here’s part of it.
JOHNSON: Our scientists believe it is likely that the Omicron wave has now peaked nationally. // From now on. The government is no longer asking people to work from home. People should not speak to their employers about arrangements for returning to the office and having looked at the data carefully, the cabinet concluded that once regulations lapse, the government will no longer mandate the wearing of face masks anywhere.
