Remember this asshole?:
A video in which a Southern California high school teacher is heard slamming members of the military as “the frickin’ lowest of the low” in a classroom rant to students has gone viral.
El Rancho High history teacher Gregory Salcido — who also serves as an elected Pico Rivera city councilman and was once mayor — even goes so far as to refer to those who are in the military overseas as failed students who had no choice but to serve, “Fox & Friends” reported Sunday.
“Think about the people you know who are over there,” Salcido is heard saying. “Your freakin’ stupid Uncle Louie or whatever. They’re dumb s – – – s. They’re not high-level bankers. They’re not academic people. They’re not intellectual people.”
“They’re the freakin’ lowest of our low.”
He is also heard questioning why military recruiters were allowed to visit the school.
He finally got fired. Couldn’t happen to a better douchebag.

A Southern California teacher who was recorded bashing the U.S. military in a profane classroom rant was fired Tuesday evening.
Board of Education President Aurora Villon said the El Rancho Unified School District reached a unanimous decision to fire Gregory Salcido, a history teacher at El Rancho High School and elected Pico Rivera city councilman, the Los Angeles Times reported.
“His comments do not reflect what we stand for, who we are,” Villon said, adding that “the classroom should never be a place where students feel that they are picked at, bullied, intimidated.”
……Salcido faced a severe backlash after a student secretly recorded him asking his government class why they would want to serve in the military, calling those who serve “dumbs‑‑‑s.”“Think about the people who you know who are over there. Your freaking stupid Uncle Louie or whatever. They’re dumbs‑‑‑s,” Salcido can be heard saying in the Jan. 25 tirade.
“They’re not like high-level thinkers, they’re not academic people, they’re not intellectual people. They’re the lowest of our low.”
Villon said thousands of emails flooded the school board, as veterans and relatives of military personnel from all over the world voiced their disgust with Salcido’s comments.
Salcido apologized at a City Council meeting in February, the paper reported, and attempted to clarify that his comments “had nothing to do with their moral character.”
“I don’t think it’s all a revelation to anybody that those who aren’t stellar students usually find the military a better option. …
That’s the typical libturd assumption. I graduated on the Honor Roll out of High School and earned a college degree during my military service.
……The student who secretly recorded Salcido — later identified by KTLA-TV as Victor Quinonez — told Fox News opinion writer Todd Starnes in January that his teacher had “a history of being anti-military.
There’s always a fundamental disconnect when you try to explain patriotism, service, and love of country to liberals; they always project their own motivations onto those who serve in the military. They can’t understand things like Duty, Honor, Country, following the example of others who served, and giving something back to the nation that’s given so much to every one of us. It takes guts and dedication that a relative fraction of the population will ever know. While most of America takes a pass, only a few raise the right hand. Many of us have college degrees and MOSs that require a great deal of acumen, especially under the pressure of being in a combat zone.
He teaches in a state that’s being bankrupted by a moonbat governor, overrun with illegals, and saturated with gangs. They probably make up a large percentage of his class. No wonder he’s so bitter.
The Left has a long-standing visceral hatred of the military, and believe me, the feelings are mutual.
