What an asshole.

IT’S Tim Robbins vs. the city’s Board of Elections – Round 2. The actor caused a ruckus on Election Day, when he went to vote at the YMCA on West 14th Street and found his name wasn’t in the poll book. He refused to cast a paper ballot, and got a court order to allow him to pull the lever. “This is just one example of how difficult it is to vote in the US,” he sniffed.
In a letter to Robbins yesterday, the board said he went to the wrong polling place because he’d moved from West 15th Street to West 19th on Feb. 19, 2004, so his voting location changed to West 20th.
And here’s the money quote:
It wasn’t noticed earlier because he hadn’t voted in recent elections, the board said. But Robbins told The Post’s David Seifman that his West 19th Street address is only an office and he still lives on West 15th. He says he even voted in 2006 without a problem: “I have never voted at this place they claim I’m registered at. I think they are trying to cover their tracks.” http://www.nypost.com/seven/11112008/gossip/pagesix/board_blasts_im_poll_ite_tim_138132.htm
Wrong, Robbins. You fucked up, you lied, and you don’t even have the dignity to be embarrassed.
And he hasn’t voted in the last elections? I thought he was supposed to be such an ‘activist’.
Remember these are the same Hollywood shit for brains who want to tell us how to live and vote.
Now the little suckwad plans to sue?
TIM ROBBINS is set to take legal action against New York officials after he was nearly denied a vote on election day (04Nov08) – accusing them of publishing his address while trying to “cover” their mistakes.
The star went to his local polling station in Manhattan on 4 November (08) only to find his name wasn’t on the list of voters.
Following a blazing row with officials, Robbins was finally able to cast his ballot after applying for a court order from a state Supreme Court judge.
But the Shawshank Redemption actor has been further infuriated by a letter from the New York Election Board after the incident, which accused him of simply going to the wrong polling station.
He moved. He didn’t bother to check for the correct voting district, so he’s blaming the Board of Elections for his screw up.
Typical libtard.
