It is terribly ironic that as we recognize and respect Ryan’s intelligence and courage and steel, we are at the same time acknowledging a lack of these very same qualities in 95% of the Republican party and 95% of the Conservative media.

I agree. The GOP needs to adopt more of the Tea Party values instead of simply talking about it. We do have some good conservative/libertarian media and commentators out there: Fox News, Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, Hugh Hewitt, Neal Boortz, Breitbart, Ann Coulter, Laura Ingraham, Pam Geller, etc. But the main stream media is largely comprised of leftwing Obama boot lickers. Don’t expect that to ever change.
