A bombshell revelation has emerged about the incident responsible for the greatest U.S. Air Force loss of life during the War on Terror, the deadliest “green-on-blue” attack during U.S. involvement in Afghanistan.
On April 27, 2011, Afghan Air Force Colonel Ahmad Gul gunned down eight U.S. Air Force personnel and a civilian contractor inside the Afghan Air Force headquarters, including investigators who had just arrived in the country to examine rampant corruption in the Afghan military.
Multiple Air Force and CENTCOM investigations claimed to find no motive for the attack, leaving the families of those killed with no answers.
Now, a senior U.S. official has gone on the record claiming that a United Nations team tracked substantial payments to the killer and his family made days just prior to the incident. …..A follow-up report on the Pentagon’s handling of the spike in “green-on-blue” incidents appeared in January, after the killing of U.S. Army Major General Harold Greene in August last year. He is the highest-ranking U.S. official killed during the War on Terror. The report noted that U.S. personnel who warned of a potential escalation of insider attacks were punished by their superiors:
The Joint Chiefs of Staff are some of the worst chickenshits I’ve ever seen. They fail to understand that there’s actually a war going on, which is pretty fucked up given that they’re supposed to be managing our end of it. We’re up against a brutal enemy that enjoys the lavish attention bestowed on them by a kowtowing DOD. We need real military leaders at the top, not craven politicians.
Rather than do what we went there for—annihilate the source of modern terrorism—they want us to bow and scrape to Islam; to blame Soldiers for their deaths at the hands of an enemy we should be slaughtering out of existence.
While Martin Dempsey and the gutless wonders in the E-ring ordered the scrubbing of any “anti-Islamic” material from training manuals, and busied themselves with removing any vestiges of common sense and warrior ethos from the United States Army, the Islamic-inspired enemy killed us.
The insane kowtowing to Islam reared its ugly head in the form of a draft Army manual, which lists “making derogatory comments about the Taliban,” “advocating women’s rights,” “any criticism of pedophilia,” “directing any criticism towards Afghans,” “mentioning homosexuality and homosexual conduct” or “anything related to Islam”, as “taboo conversation topics” that Soldiers should avoid. Can you imagine the Army leadership in WWII concocting a piece of tripe that instructed Soldiers “not to be mean” to the Nazis, Imperialist Japs, and Fascist Italians? Patton and MacArthur are spinning in their graves.
Major Stephen Coughlin and LTC Matthew Dooley were treated in the same manner as other U.S. personnel for stating the obvious about the Islamic enemy.
They censured anyone who spoke out against the depraved incompetence of the military hierarchy, and it cost lives. The blood of those troops is on their hands.
