U.S. ambassador to Libya J. Christopher Stevens and three other embassy staff were killed in an attack in Benghazi on Wednesday, the White House confirmed on Wednesday.
Obama strongly condemned the attacks, while also calling on embassies across the globe to increase security.
“Right now, the American people have the families of those we lost in our thoughts and prayers,” Obama said. “They exemplified America’s commitment to freedom, justice, and partnership with nations and people around the globe, and stand in stark contrast to those who callously took their lives.”
That’s “strong” on Obama’s planet. I prefer the Reagan approach.
The Americans were targeted in an attack in their car, trying to move to a safer venue away from the violent protests that erupted at the U.S. Consulate, Reuters reported. Stevens died of suffocation, while the three other personnel were killed by gunshot wounds, CBS News reports.
Libyan security forces hired to protect the American consulate in Benghazi, showed the mob exactly where Stevens was.
By the way, there are reports that say Stevens was raped before he was killed.

It is so far the only death from mob attacks in Libya and Egypt over Islamist anger at an alleged film in production by Coptic Christians focusing on Islam. The United States spent 9/11 apologizing for hurting Islamists’ feelings in Egypt which incited protesters to desecrate our flag and storm the walls of the U.S. embassy.
Afterwards, President Obama rejected a meeting with Binyamin Netanyahu, saying that his schedule was full, the same day he announced another appearance on the “Late Show with David Letterman.”
Earlier, muzzie rioters stormed the embassy in Cairo and burned the U.S. flag. One of them channeled the “Occupy” thugs.
Meanwhile, Obama makes a half-assed statement, plans a campaign stop in Las Vegas, and disrespects our Israeli allies…again.

Today, the 11th anniversary of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks on the United States, Americans are honoring our patriots and those who serve our nation as the fitting response to the enemies of democracy. Respect for religious beliefs is a cornerstone of American democracy. We firmly reject the actions by those who abuse the universal right of free speech to hurt the religious beliefs of others.
The State Department doubled down on the embassy apology.
Newsflash, assholes: THEY WANT US DEAD. Or didn’t 9/11 and the recent murder of Christopher Stevens and three other embassy staffers in Libya prove that point? As for free speech, you’re in a part of the world that doesn’t have freedom of religion or speech. Excusing the violence of a gutter culture with nothing on its mind except to kill and destroy in the name of Islam, is indicative of someone who is stupid beyond belief.
Go to their twitter page and witness the craven, embarrassing mea culpas. If the mob succeeds in overrunning the Cairo embassy, I’m sure whomever runs the page can appeal to their humanity.
The New York Times does its usual head up its ass routine and buries the story on page 4, while throwing a hissy fit over Romney’s criticism of Obama’s limp-wristed response.
In a statement Tuesday night, Mitt Romney accused the Obama administration of sympathizing with the Libyan protesters who attacked a consulate in Benghazi, killing the U.S. ambassador and three other American diplomats.
“I’m outraged by the attacks on American diplomatic missions in Libya and Egypt and by the death of an American consulate worker in Benghazi,” Romney said. “It’s disgraceful that the Obama Administration’s first response was not to condemn attacks on our diplomatic missions, but to sympathize with those who waged the attacks.”
Romney’s remarks came before the White House confirmed Wednesday morning that U.S. ambassador to Libya, John Christopher Stevens, was among those killed in the Benghazi attack.
On the eleventh anniversary of 9/11, Obama made a special effort to kiss the ass of the subhuman shitbags who are part and parcel to the atrocities carried out in the name of their “religion”.
I really hope the world pays attention to the way this miserable clusterfuck mishandles and mutilates our foreign policies and strength into a laughingstock. His first instinct is to always sympathize with radical muslims.
That speaks volumes about what and who he is.
Every single American embassy should be closed and every single American civilian should be ordered home. The bombing should then commence.
