Obama Rules by Spite

Obama wanted to make the shutdown as painful as he could for ordinary Americans and blame the GOP for his malfeasance. The media, his faithful lapdog, went along. He operates through dictatorial executive orders and abject spite.

Did you notice who Obama threatened when he wasn’t getting his way on raising the debt ceiling?

He threatened not to pay:

Social Security

Military Retirees and Active Duty military

Disability

Federal Retirees

He did not threaten to;

Stop payments to illegal aliens.

Fire some of the thousands of unnecessary federal employees that he hired.

Stop his or MoMo’s multimillion dollar vaycays.

Stop paying senators and representatives or any of their staff.

Take benefits away from welfare recipients or to stop the free Obamaphones they get.

Reduce payments in foreign aid.

Cut back on anything that involves his voting bloc.

He deliberately chose to affect the things that would elicit the most outrage from Americans, in an effort to direct that anger toward the GOP, instead of at him.

It’s been suggested that Senior Adviser and radical Valerie Jarrett, who bragged about being “delighted to be able to recruit” disgraced Marxist green jobs czar Van Jones into Obama’s cabinet, is the one who prodded Obama throughout the shutdown. Given her ability to come up with terms like `hostage’, and `ransom,’ and `terrorists’ against the Republicans while dining with Obama and MoMo, it’s believable.

For the record: House Republicans presented three bills to restore funding to national parks, veterans and the District of Columbia government. Democrats voted down all three.

The Executive-in-Chief is the one who gives the final stamp of approval on any major fiscal decision, a fact which escapes many people, and is blithely ignored by the MSM unless it’s a Republican president doing the approving.

In spite of the “shutdown”, illegal aliens and their abettors were allowed to parade around on the National Mall, and the Federal government still spent to the tune of over $63 billion dollars. Even Big Bird got a $445 million paycheck.

Veterans memorials, sports broadcasts to troops overseas, death benefits for the families of fallen U.S. service members, and access to open air national parks were used as fodder for Obama’s tantrum.

Everything Obama does is in bad taste, due to belligerence, or for political gain.
