Things just keep getting worse for the American worker, and by implication US economy, where as we have shown many times before, it pays just as well to sit back and collect disability and various welfare and entitlement checks, than to work .The best manifestation of this: the number of people not in the labor force which in March soared by a massive 663,000 to a record 90 million Americans who are no longer even looking for work. This was the biggest monthly increase in people dropping out of the labor force since January 2012, when the BLS did its census recast of the labor numbers. And even worse, the labor force participation rate plunged from an already abysmal 63.5% to 63.3% – the lowest since 1979! But at least it helped with the now painfully grotesque propaganda that the US unemployment rate is “improving.”
Obama’s response: Everything is just hunky dory. Putting sugar on a shit sandwich for public consumption.
A large majority of that 90 million are able bodied people who have never worked, don’t want to, and will never work.
The entitlement culture runs the gamut from Francis Fox-Piven’s ideology of violent revolution for ‘redistribution of wealth’, to free internet access for ‘nappy-headed children’ to illegal aliens, to the union thugs.
This is quintessential entitlement arrogance:
A man who won $2 million on a Michigan lottery show has told a TV station that he still uses food stamps.
Leroy Fick of Bay County admitted he still swipes the electronic card at stores, nearly a year after winning a jackpot on “Make Me Rich!” He told WNEM-TV in Saginaw that more than half the prize went to taxes.
Fick says the Department of Human Services told him he could continue to use the card, which is paid with tax dollars. He told WNEM: “If you’re going to … try to make me feel bad, you aren’t going to do it.”
The TV station says people have seen Fick driving a new Audi convertible. Messages seeking comment were left with his attorney and the state today.

Leroy is real proud of himself.
America has devolved into a society that no longer believes in the rugged individualism, courage, and self-determination that made us a once great nation. A large part of the population is comprised of an able-bodied but lazy segment of society that siphons off the public dole. Every developed country has them. It’s a perpetual welfare class that doesn’t work because they don’t have to. Many of them never have. They know how to manipulate the system and they pass it to their children like a fucking family heirloom. Speaking of children, some of the welfare queens are just as allergic to birth control as they are job hunting.
No one gave me a free meal ticket in life. I come from a working class family. My environment was far from prosperous. My mother raised 7 kids, mostly by herself. We all worked. My two older step sisters worked two part time jobs, and my mother worked to make ends meet. We believe in a helping hand, not a handout.
Parents are supposed to set an example of values, principles, and work ethic to help their kids have a better life than they did. The opportunities are there. You have to do something besides sit on your ass and complain about how unfair it is that the evil rich have so much money. Ordinary rational humans wouldn’t want to destroy their countries’ economy and penalize wage-earners with more taxation. But, that’s the goal of the class-warfare neo-Bolsheviks in the White House and the Democratic party. Which is why so many businesses are collapsing.
And just wait until ObamaCare kicks in. The side effects of this socialist Frankenstein are already causing employers to start layoffs, cuts in wages, and produce less.
