Obama’s Press Conference: Stonewalling on Benghazi and Oh By the Way, Everything is Still Bush’s Fault

He took lame questions from the press corps and gave answers that can only be described as bullshit on stilts.

His incredible propensity to lie in the face of overwhelming facts, has no limit. He was aware of the attacks taking place in Benghazi, yet he won’t take responsibility for his dereliction.

I can tell you that immediately upon finding out that our folks were in danger, that my orders to my National Security team were do whatever we need to do to make sure they’re safe.

Really, B. Hussein? Is that before or after the embassy sent repeated requests for help or while the drone sat in the sky watching the battle rage as four Americans died?  Or was it when you were hopping on Air Force One for a campaign stop in Vegas before Ambassador Stevens’ body was even cold?

“Come after me”.

“She (Susan Rice) made an appearance at the request of the White House in which she gave her best understanding of the intelligence that had been provided to her,” Obama said. “If Sen. McCain and Sen. (Lindsey) Graham and others want to go after somebody, they should go after me.”

We will come after you, muthafucka.

“Mr. President, don’t think for one minute I don’t hold you ultimately responsible for Benghazi. I think you failed as Commander in Chief before, during, and after the attack,” said Lindsey Graham, South Carolina Republican.

Obama sent Susan Rice out to the Sunday talk shows to do his dirty work; to spin a story over an obscure video which was refuted by intelligence received just hours after the attack that that pointed directly to Al Qaeda.
He must be the most clue-challenged asshole on the planet or he’s a pathological liar.

General David Petraeus is scheduled to testify before Congress about Benghazi again.

Maybe he’ll tell the truth this time.

And about that Petreaus scandal: “Ask the FBI, I don’t know a thing”.

The Blame Bush refrain on the economy:

Obama opened his first White House press conference in eight months Wednesday with a familiar refrain: Blame Bush. Before diving into an explanation of how he wants to avoid the so-called “fiscal cliff” — and imploring House Republicans to approve legislation to raise taxes on high earners — Obama sought to once again remind Americans that he took office, four years ago, during a recession that started with the George W. Bush administration.

“Right now our economy is still recovering from a very deep and damaging crisis, so our top priority has to be jobs and growth,” Obama said. “We’ve got to build on the progress that we’ve made.”

The reminder was a refrain on the campaign trail, and apparently will be part of the rhetorical repertoire going forward in a second term.

Except that Obama owns the socialist train wreck he created.

He spouted the class warfare meme, and insisted that raising taxes would “take the edge off the fiscal cliff.”:

“What I have told leaders privately as well as publicly is that we cannot afford to extend the Bush tax cuts for the wealthy. What we can do is make sure that middle class taxes don’t go up. The most important step we can take right now and the foundation for a deal that helps the economy … is if we right away say 98% of Americans are not going to see their taxes go up.” That, said Obama, would “remove half the fiscal cliff.” He added later that it would “take the edge off the fiscal cliff.”

That’s a lie. The Middle Class will bear the brunt of tax increases. Those small business owners who make $200,000 are not rich. They are job creators.

One giggly little girl posing as a ‘journalist’, congratulated Obama on his re-election and squealed: “”I’ve never seen you lose!”  That’s an example just how much the media in this country fawns over him and pretty much lets him get away with everything, including murder. Just ask the family of Border Agent Brian Terry.

This so-called press conference was another Obama love fest hosted by lap dogs.
