I once received an e-mail from a friend of mine accusing me (and this blog) of being ‘over the top’.
I asked what her reaction was to Obama’s socialist policies and those he attracts and associates with, but she was at a loss for an answer.
Anyway, during the campaign and subsequent election of THE ONE, I couldn’t help noticing a lot of ‘over the top’ behavior:
Listen, I just want to say one thing. Having been in the South in the ’60s and Los Angeles, in Watts and northern urban areas, when we were evolving as a country, I’m thinking of all the bigots and rednecks and people I met along the way. I’m saying to them, “Take this.” You know?
“Re-create ’68” morons at the DNC convention:
A white Chicago police officer was slapped in the face by a black female who informed him that:
‘White [expletive], [expletive] McCain–you white police can’t do nothing anymore.’” https://sfcmac.com/chicago-starts-the-post-election-mayhem/
Well, “whitey” could and did arrest her black ass.
Obama’s campaign HQ threatened any and all critics of THE ONE’s policies and ideology:
He’s been likened to Jesus, a Savior, and ridiculously deified in the media:
Did they wipe their chin after they took the photos?
And here’s a compilation of some of the MSM adoration:
And they certainly didn’t hold back during the inauguration. ABC’s Bill Weir couldn’t contain his man-crush:
“We know that wind can make a cold day feel colder, but can national pride make a freezing day feel warmer? It seems to be the case because regardless of the final crowd number estimates, never have so many people shivered so long with such joy. From above, even the seagulls must have been awed by the blanket of humanity…”
Neither could David Muir:
“So many of the streets are closed those that are open are clogged. But there were no car horns, no shouting. Instead, the San Francisco Boys and Girls choruses practicing for their Inaugural moment on the steps of the Capitol.”
Andrea Mitchell even snuck in a swipe at “white faces” in honor of their Lord and Savior Jesus Christ Obama:
“And because of Barack Obama it’s no longer a sea of white faces. Celebrities, civil rights heroes and millions more drawn by the desire to witness history, to celebrate and preserve the memories. People, as far as the eye can see, not a patch of green all the way to the Washington Monument. This tells the story of what Barack Obama’s inauguration means to Washington, to America, and to the rest of the world. When he finally emerged, he seemed, even in this throng, so solitary, somber, perhaps already feeling the weight of the world, even before he was transformed into the leader of the free world.”
Those snippets, as well as a selection of back-slapping, gushing, and parting snarks from the leftwingnut MSM to President Bush, at this link:
I’m agnostic, but I seem to recall a biblical reference to a being called the ‘anti-Christ’ who has the same charismatic following.
With all of the idol worship out there, it’s hard to tell who’s really ‘over the top’.
