Rep. Amash Tells Fauci ‘Hell No’ to His ‘Papers, Please’ Idea, AG Barr Calls For End To ‘Draconian’ Coronavirus Restrictions

The rebellion has started.

The Daily Caller

Independent Michigan Rep. Justin Amash ripped a proposal from top White House coronavirus adviser Dr. Anthony Fauci that would require Americans to carry “certificates of immunity” to prove they don’t have coronavirus.

“So police and government officials can stop us wherever we go and demand to see our papers?” Amash tweeted. “How about no.”

Fauci said during a CNN interview Friday that Americans may soon be forced to carry papers to prove they are immune to the virus.

The federal government and state governments across the country have increasingly used the virus to clamp down on Americans’ civil liberties, ordering businesses and churches to close, and demanding that people stay in their homes. Attorney General Bill Barr sounded the alarm Thursday on the “draconian” coronavirus restrictions that have been put in place throughout the country, and called for them to be lifted soon.

“We have to be very careful to make sure this, that the draconian measures that are being adopted are fully justified, and there are not alternative ways of protecting people,” Barr told Fox News’ Laura Ingraham.

“When this period of time at the end of April expires, I think we have to allow people to adapt more than we have, and not just tell people to go home and hide under the bed,” Barr said.

The police state has reared its ugly head and people are getting fed up.

If they want a real national crisis, keep up the jackbooted tactics. We’ll make the 1776 Revolution look like a fucking picnic.
