Senate Democrats are refusing to take part in a congressional hearing addressing President Joe Biden’s mental decline while serving in the White House.
Sens. Dick Durbin, D-Ill., and Peter Welch, D-Vt., were the only Democrats who attended the kickoff of the Senate Judiciary Committee meeting Wednesday, Politico said. Durbin said the hearing was a distraction from issues the committee should be reviewing like Sen. Alex Padilla, D-Calif., being handcuffed at a Department of Homeland Security press conference and the assassination of a state lawmaker in Minnesota.
“The Republican majority on this committee has not held a single oversight hearing despite numerous critical challenges facing the nation that are under our jurisdiction,” Durbin said. “Apparently, armchair diagnosing former President Biden is more important than the issues of grave concern, which I have mentioned.”
Durbin is using the standard Dem tactic of deflecting blame and refusing accountability
1. Padilla got exactly what he deserved. He charged the podium during Kris Noem’s press conference, then resisted officers as he was being removed and tried to rush at the stage again. FAFO
2. Dem Rep Lamonica McIver has been charged with assaulting law enforcement while trying to bust into an ICE facility in Newark, NJ. Dem Newark Mayor Ras Baraka was arrested for his part in the assault as well.
No one is above the law, right?
As for Biden, a small, tight-knit group in Joe Biden’s inner circle was running the White House like a “politburo,” and they were the “ultimate decision-makers”.
It was obvious in March 2023, that Klain was running the show.
Biden’s dementia had been on full display for awhile.
When Jeff Zients took over as WHCOS, SBA special advisor Tyler Robinson said that Zients had more power than Kammy Harris.
For the entire length of Biden’s term the liberal media and the Dems denied, in the face of Biden’s glaring deterioration, that any of this existed.
Now, they’re denying their part in the charade.
