At a Senate Judiciary Committee meeting on Thursday, Senator Dianne Feinstein (D-California) opposed an amendment to her Assault Weapons Ban legislation that would allow military veterans to continue to buy the firearms that would be banned. Feinstein says a veteran may be mentally ill and should be prevented from purchasing firearms.
……“The problem [said Feinstein] with expanding this is that, you know, with the advent of PTSD, which I think is a new phenomenon as a product of the Iraq War…”
She’s in good company. Janet “Big Sis” Napolitano also pulled the PTSD ‘veterans are crazy’ card when she added Iraq War vets to her Domestic Threat Assessment.
And according to Dems, women should be ‘gun-free-zones’, as well.
No matter how asinine the Dems are, the MSM gives them a pass. They can say idiotic shit to rape victims, blatantly violate the individual rights of American citizens, and exhibit some of the most batshit crazy behavior on record, but you’ll never see it criticized on NBC or MSNBC.
When it comes to the military, the DemLeft reserves a special kind of hate.
