The suspected rapist accused of impregnating a 10-year-old child rape victim in Ohio was arrested on Tuesday after confessing his heinous crimes to police.
27-year-old Gershon Fuentes was taken into custody on Tuesday and booked into Franklin County jail.
Fuentes, who is believed to be an ILLEGAL ALIEN, was arraigned Wednesday morning and bond was set at $2 million, the Columbus Dispatch reported.

The Columbus Dispatch reported that 27-year-old Gerson Fuentes was arrested on Tuesday and has confessed to the rape of the unnamed 10-year-old whose story was seized on by Democrats including President Joe Biden as a lurid example to promote their pro-abortion narrative after the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade. The story has been wielded like a bludgeon against Republicans including South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem.
“Columbus police were made aware of the girl’s pregnancy through a referral by Franklin County Children Services that was made by her mother on June 22, Det. Jeffrey Huhn testified Wednesday morning at Fuentes’ arraignment. On June 30, the girl underwent a medical abortion in Indianapolis, Huhn said,” the outlet reported. “Huhn also testified that DNA from the clinic in Indianapolis is being tested against samples from Fuentes, as well as the child’s siblings, to confirm contribution to the aborted fetus.”
Authorities have charged the suspect with rape, a first-degree felony in the Buckeye State, and his bail has been set at $2 million.
Fox News reported that Fuentes – a Guatemalan national – has had an ICE detainer placed on him and is in the country illegally, ICE confirmed to Fox News Digital that the suspect is indeed not in the U.S. lawfully.

“Ohio’s heartbeat law has a medical emergency exception broader than just the life of the mother,” Mr. Yost said. “This young girl, if she exists and if this horrible thing actually happened to her — it breaks my heart to think about it — she did not have to leave Ohio to find treatment.”
The parents and the Indiana doctor, Caitlin Bernard, should be prosecuted for not reporting the rape as required by law.
