Mark my words: There will be another attack on U.S. soil; one that will make 9/11 look like a picnic. The politically correct imbeciles in the Homeland Security Department and TSA are so afraid of “offending” people, that they refuse to profile. The safest airline on the planet bar none, is El AL, operated by the Israelis. They don’t just look for weapons, they look for terrorists. That muslim male coming through the security check point may not have a box cutter, but he could be on his way back from an Al Qaeda training camp. Our “no fly” list and terrorist travel alerts are seriously lacking and not very refined.
There isn’t much communication between the intelligence community (which tracks terrorists extensively), criminal investigative departments, and airport security. Some of this is residue left over from the idiocy of Jamie Gorlick, former Clinton Deputy Attorney General. In 1995, Gorlick wrote a memo directing that counterintelligence efforts be kept separate from criminal intelligence. This action created a wall that prohibited collaboration between agencies like the FBI and the CIA, and impeded the investigation into Zacarias Moussaoui, the so-called “20th hijacker”, (pre-9/11) which could have led to the arrest of the other 19.

Inter-agency bungling and incompetence only added to the tragic results. In more than one case, the FBI’s malfeasance against its own agents resulted in failure to stop terrorist attacks.
An unidentified FBI agent testifying told congressional investigators he wanted to go after (Khalid) al-Midhar more aggressively, but headquarters shot that down, insisting there was no cause.
“I wrote on Aug. 29, 2001, ‘Whatever has happened to this, someone, some day, someone will die — and the public will not understand why we were not more effective,’” said the agent.
FBI Special Agent Harry Samit testified in detail at the death penalty phase of the Zaccarias Moussaoui trial. The counterterrorism agent recounted how he worked desperately to stop terrorist Moussaoui–believed to have been the designated 20th hijacker for the 9/11 terrorist attacks.
……Samit, a pilot, was sure Moussaoui was involved in a terrorism hijacking plan, but had to resort to a cockamamie scheme to transfer Moussaoui to France in order to search the terrorist’s belongings. Thank Robert Mueller and company for that. Orders from the very top stopped Agent Samit cold.
……Samit said that officials at the FBI headquarters in Washington rejected a series of attempts to obtain a warrant to search Moussaoui’s personal belongings.
Had the belongings been opened before Sept. 11, agents would have found numerous small knives, jumbo-jet pilot manuals, rosters of flight schools and other clues that might have helped them understand the Sept. 11 plot.
Samit wanted to seek a criminal search warrant, and later one from a special intelligence court. But officials at the FBI headquarters refused to let him, because they did not believe he had enough evidence to prove Moussaoui was anything but a wealthy man who had come to this country to follow his dream of becoming a pilot.
He said that as Washington kept telling him there was “no urgency and no threat,” his FBI superiors sent him on “wild goose chases.”

The indictments of three men with ties to terrorist organizations is vindication for its client FBI Special Agent Robert Wright, who started an investigation on the matter eight years ago but had the probe shut down because of internal FBI disputes and sensitivities about Saudi Arabia’s involvement.
The men, Muhammad Salah, Abdelhaleem Ashquar and Musa Abu Marzook, were charged Aug. 20 by the U.S. Justice Department with racketeering conspiracy for fundraising and funneling money over a 15-year period to the militant Islamic group Hamas. Wright publicly criticized the FBI for its handling of terrorist investigations after the agency in early 2000 stopped his investigation into fundraising and money laundering by Hamas. In retaliation, the FBI has brought several administrative actions against Wright in an attempt to fire him. A memo written by a former FBI official tells how the FBI tried to “take out” Wright. The 14-year veteran of the FBI has two separate lawsuits pending against the agency and is represented in both cases by Judicial Watch and former U.S. House impeachment counsel David Schippers of the Chicago law firm of Schippers and Bailey.
Wright’s initial investigation, code named “Vulgar Betrayal” and started in 1996, led to the seizure of $1.4 million from Salah and a U.S.-based educational group with ties to Hamas. Because of turf battles within the FBI and because it appeared that some of the money had come from Saudi Arabia, a U.S. ally, the investigation was shut down by the Justice Department. Frances Townsend, who now is homeland security adviser to President Bush, played a key role in stopping the investigation, which resumed after the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks and after Wright publicized the continued failure to act.
“Our client, Bob Wright, was right all along about terrorists in our country, and the FBI and the Justice Department have tried to make him pay for their mistakes,” said Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton. “It took four years to prosecute blatant terrorist fundraising uncovered by Special Agent Wright. The U.S. attorney general and the FBI director should apologize to our client and to the American people for their agencies’ inexcusable failures to act.”

Mohammad declared war on Jews, Christians and infidels with the writing of the Koran in 692AD. His followers started prosecuting that war in 693AD. Islam’s modern war against the West was officially kicked off in 1979, with the Iranian hostage taking of the American embassy in Tehran. Since then, the terrorist attacks grew closer in proximity and more severe. Khobar Towers, the USS Cole, the American embassy attacks in Kenya and Tanzania, and the FIRST World Trade Center attack in 1993, all went unanswered by a ‘president’ more occupied with Chinese cash and mouth-to-crotch resuscitation from Monika Lewinsky.
The current White House occupant is a laughing-stock and a failure of epic proportions. Since day one, he’s been immersed in destroying (“fundamentally transforming”) America’s economy and national security into mush.
The security deficiencies didn’t start with Obama, but they’ve been worsened by his policies.
B. Hussein Obama is a Dhimmi who wants to go easy on Islamic terrorists; so much so that he’s willing to try them in a civilian court of law, grant them rights they’re not entitled to, and further expose the American public to incendiary rhetoric and attacks while this judicial circus plays out in the MSM.
Jamaat al Fuqra training camps dot the American landscape. Radical muslims stand on New York City street corners praising the Ft. Hood terrorist atrocity. Muslim recruitment takes place in our prisons, and Imams preach anti-American hate-speech from mosques within our borders.
Concern and vigilance of dedicated agents and intelligence analysts is often dismissed by incompetent supervisors afraid of ‘making waves’ and ‘offending the wrong ethnic group’, than doing what it takes to enhance security.
