At a star-studded New York fundraiser at Harvey Weinstein’s residence, THE ONE made this comment about himself:
Before leaving, Obama likened himself to one more figure. Martin Luther King, Jr.
“I think that we forget when he was alive there was nobody who was more vilified, nobody who was more controversial, nobody who was more despairing at times,” he said.
What’s next Obamessiah? Comparing yourself to Gandhi or Mother Theresa?
Martin Luther King’s life was in constant danger because of his advocacy for civil rights. And he didn’t exploit race and spew incendiary rhetoric the way you, your Dem pals, and the radical Left always do.
Compare and contrast the words of Martin Luther King…..
……I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character.
……And when this happens, when we allow freedom ring, when we let it ring from every village and every hamlet, from every state and every city, we will be able to speed up that day when all of God’s children, black men and white men, Jews and Gentiles, Protestants and Catholics, will be able to join hands and sing in the words of the old Negro spiritual:
Free at last! Free at last!
Thank God Almighty, we are free at last!.
…..with these bigoted, racist cesspool dwellers:
Julian Bond on black conservatives:
“These conservatives are “black hustlers and hucksters … [who], like ventriloquists’ dummies, speak in their puppet master’s voice”
“The Bush administration likes to use former Secretary of State Colin Powell and current Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice as kinds of human shields against any criticism of their record on civil rights.”
Charles Blow, New York Times’ hack, insults Alphonzo Rachel, aka “Zo”, a black conservative commentator and member of the Tea Party:
“I saw a political minstrel show devised for the entertainment…”
SEIU member Elston McCowan, who along with two other union members, assaulted black conservative Kenneth Gladney:
“What kind of nigger are you?”
Rappers “Young Jeezy” and “Jay-Z” celebrating Obama’s election:
“My president is black, he’s black, he’s half white/ So even in a racist mind, he’s half right/ So if you got a racist mind, it’s alright/ My president is black, but his house is all white,” Jay spit a capella as the DJ pulled the music for his verse.
“No more white lies, my president is black!” Hov finished, as the crowd in the club repeated his last line over and over again.
Henry Louis Gates, publisher of The Root:
“As happy as we are for the nation to get its yearly reminder that black people do exist in the context of American history, there’s a growing list of characters that has us harking back to Zora Neale Hurston’s famous words: ‘All my skinfolk ain’t kinfolk.’ Indeed, while we love our own, we sure do dream of erasing a few of them from the history books.”
The list includes conservatives Alan Keyes, Clarence Thomas, and Michael Steele. He lumps them in with despots like Idi Amin.
One of the dozens of hate emails sent to James T. Harris, a black conservative radio host:
“You are lost, sad and worthy of pity. I will not hate you; I will call you by your rightful name: House Nigger.”
James Cone, the founder of “Black Liberation Theology”:
“What we need is the destruction of whiteness, which is the source of human misery in the world”, and condemns them as “devils”.
“It is this world, a world where cruise ships throw away more food in a day than most residents of Port-au-Prince see in a year, where white folks’ greed runs a world in need, apartheid in one hemisphere, apathy in another hemisphere…That’s the world! On which hope sits!”
“… what’s going on in white America, U.S. of KKKA …”
“Jesus was a poor, black man who lived in a country and who lived in a culture that was controlled by rich white people. The Romans were rich, the Romans were Italian- which means they were Europeans, which means they were white- and the Romans ran everything in Jesus’ country.”
That’s funny, I thought Christ was a Jewish man from Nazareth, with olive colored skin.
Shirley Sherrod, former USDA Rural Development Georgia State Director at an NAACP banquet:
“The first time I was faced with having to help a white farmer save his farm, he took a long time talking but he was trying to show me he was superior to me. I know what he was doing, but he had come to me for help. What he didn’t know while he was taking all that time trying to show me he was superior to me was, I was trying to decide just how much help I was going to give him.”
“I was struggling with the fact that so many black people had lost their farmland, and here I was faced with having to help a white person save their land. So I didn’t give him the full force of what I could do. I did enough,” Sherrod said. “So that when he, I assumed the Department of Agriculture had sent him to me, either that or the Georgia Department of Agriculture, and he needed to go back and report that I did try to help him.”
……”So I took him to a white lawyer that had attended some of training that we had provided because Chapter 12 bankruptcy had just been enacted for the family farm. So I figured if I take him to one of them, that his own kind would take care of him.”
Charles Sherrod: (Shirley’s husband)
“We must stop the white man and his Uncle Toms from stealing our elections.”
…… “The tears that we’ve shed, so many times…. When the TV and the newspaper comes out the day of an election, or the day before an election. And tell white folk, all over, wherever we are running somebody for an office … that blacks are going to TAKE that office over. And thousands are coming to the polls. And you gotta get it.”
King Samir Shabazz, founder of the Philadelphia chapter of the New Black Panther Party at an African heritage festival:
“I hate white people. All of them. Every last iota of a cracker, I hate him…..There’s too much serious business goin’ on in the black community to be out here slidin’ through South Street with white, dirty, cracker whores…and we call ourselves black men…what da hell is wrong wich you black man…you at a (unintelligible) wit a white girl on your damn arm….your enemy cannot make you free, foo. You want freedom you gonna have to kill some crackas. You gonna have to kill some of them babies.”
And remember, blacks “can’t be racist”, according to Malik Zulu Shabazz, chairman of the New Black Panther Party:
“A black man cannot be a racist. A racist means that you have prejudice plus power. You cannot show me where whites were in prison, where they’ve been discriminated against, where they were denied opportunity against, because of his words.”
Yes I can. But that would take another whole post.
Obama made his racist position pretty clear in 1995:
“Redistribution of wealth”: Check.
Flinging the race card: Check.
Blaming ‘whitey’: Check.
Like the lady’s sign says:
