A 25-year-old Navy sailor has been identified as one of the three US citizens who were arrested for plotting an Islamic terror attack against American service members.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) took three men from Kansas City, San Diego and Sacramento into custody on charges of conspiring to provide material support to the Islamic State of Iraq and al-Sham (ISIS), a foreign terrorist organization.
The U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) announced the arrests on Friday.
21-year-old Bisaam Ghafoor of Leawood, Kansas, 21-year-old Elias Shamsaldeen of Porterville, California, and 25-year-old Bereen Dzayee of Lakeside, California, were arrested after a complaint was filed in the District of Kansas for providing over $2,000 to a suspected member of ISIS.
“This administration has put terrorists, cartels, and gangs on notice. Today’s arrest of three individuals who allegedly conspired to provide material support to ISIS makes clear our commitment to taking down terrorist networks — anywhere. Thanks to the vigilance of the FBI, their alleged scheme was dismantled and further acts of violence against U.S. service members were prevented,” said Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche.
The complaint states that the men supposedly began communicating around February 2025 with someone believed to be an ISIS member. Prosecutors allege those communications continued through June 2026 as the men discussed plans for supporting the terror group.
According to reviewed Discord chats, voice calls and other messaging platforms, the co-conspirators pledged allegiance to ISIS and its leader.
“I wish I could kill 300,000,000 Americans,” said Ghafoor. Prosecutors also allege that messaging exchanges showed Ghafoor stating he wanted to behead a female soldier, and exclaiming it would be “sick” if his name could be imprinted on a drone used in an attack.
The case was investigated by the FBI’s Joint Terrorism Task Force in the Kansas City, San Diego and Sacramento Field Offices with assistance from the Richmond and Newark FBI field offices.
Assistant Attorney General for National Security John A. Eisenberg credited the FBI in a statement.
“Thanks to the work of the FBI, their plans to betray their country in the gravest way lies in ruin. Instead, these defendants will face justice in our courts,” said Eisenberg.
FBI Director Kash Patel also praised the Bureau’s efforts.
“These subjects allegedly swore allegiance to ISIS, plotted multiple attacks, and even targeted U.S. service members — but this FBI stopped them cold. The success of this op shows once again this FBI’s continued record of stopping terrorist attacks before they happen, simply the best way to defend the homeland — and shows we’ll stop at nothing to defend Americans from those who seek to do us harm. I want to thank our teams in Kansas City, San Diego, Sacramento, Newark, and Richmond, and the Counterterrorism Division for their outstanding efforts on this investigation and commitment to mission,” said Patel.
Nidal Hasan taught them nothing.
Islam is a violent theocracy that advocates the overthrow of the West for a new Caliphate. The Koran teaches them that Christians, Jews, ‘infidels’, and ‘unbelievers’ should be killed in the name of allah. Muslims should be barred from serving in the United States armed forces, regardless if they attempt to enlist or whether they convert afterward.
Here’s some sound advice for military recruiters: If someone walks into your office with a name like Nidal Hasan, Mohammad Abdullah Hassan, Asan Akbar, Bereen Dzayee, Elias Shamsaldeen, or Bisaam Ghafoor, don’t sign him up, show him the goddamned door.
