Kash Patel announces investigation into Comey’s ‘covert operation’ deploying female ‘honey pots’ to target Trump’s 2016 campaign.
The FBI’s leadership has initiated an investigation into the origins of an operation carried out nearly a decade ago, in which the agency deployed two female undercover agents to infiltrate Donald Trump’s 2016 presidential campaign.
This covert operation, which was reportedly launched in 2015 under the direction of then-FBI Director James B. Comey, was brought to light by a whistleblower who provided a protected disclosure to the House Judiciary Committee last year. The Washington Times first reported on this revelation in October.
Within intelligence circles, the term “honeypot” is commonly used to describe an undercover agent—often a woman—who gains a target’s trust through romantic or sexual pretense to extract sensitive information.
According to the whistleblower, two female FBI undercover agents were embedded within Trump’s 2016 campaign and were specifically instructed to operate as “honeypots” while traveling with the candidate and his team. The FBI, now under the leadership of Director Kash Patel and Deputy Director Dan Bongino, is actively working to identify those operatives who were involved in the operation during Comey’s tenure. The agency declined to comment on the matter.
The whistleblower disclosure, reviewed by The Times, suggests that this initiative was separate from Crossfire Hurricane, the FBI’s later counterintelligence probe that sought to investigate unproven allegations of collusion between Trump’s campaign and Russia. Instead, the early covert investigation, described as a criminal probe, was reportedly focused on Trump and his associates without a clear criminal predicate.
……..The operation was ultimately shut down after a major news outlet acquired a photograph of one of the undercover agents and prepared to publish it. The FBI’s press office reportedly intervened, telling the publication that revealing the image could endanger the individual, who was claimed to be an informant. In reality, the photograph was of an undercover FBI employee.
Deputy FBI Director Dan Bongino said the American public is going to be “stunned” by the materials found in a room that date back to James Comey’s tenure as FBI director.
President Donald Trump fired Comey shortly into his first term in 2017, with the president reportedly angered by Comey’s involvement in initiating and continuing the Russia collusion investigation into the 2016 Trump campaign.
A probe headed by former FBI Director Robert Mueller determined after nearly two years of investigation that the Trump campaign had not colluded with Russia.
During an interview with Fox News on Thursday, Bongino said, “I’ve gotta tell you of all the things that have surprised me in the close to now three months I’ve been here, is the depravity of Jim Comey.”
“This man is a disgrace to the badge, the FBI, and the country,” he added.
……..Bongino pointed out that Comey has never been prosecuted for alleged wrongdoing from his time as FBI director, when he was involved with obtaining Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act warrants to spy on the Trump campaign and passing along sensitive FBI documents to the media following his firing.
“We’re finding stuff even now. Wait ‘til you read the stuff that’s coming out,” Bongino said.
“Luckily, there are a lot of people up there [at the FBI] who grabbed us by the arm the minute we came in and said, ‘Thank you for being here. We need to talk.’ There are people there who are really horrified at what happened,” he continued.
“And there was a room, and we found stuff, a lot of stuff,” Bonino said. “A lot of it’s from the Comey era, and we are working our damndest right now to declassify it.”
The deputy director noted that the documents they found had not been processed through normal procedures by digitizing and logging them.
Bongino said, “We found it in bags, hiding under Jim Comey’s FBI. You’re gonna be stunned.”
More than two years before Robert Mueller’s final shitshow before Congress and his admission that there was no collusion, the FBI acknowledged that the Steele dossier was fake. They acknowledged the whole thing fell apart the first month into President Trump’s first term.
The FBI knew it was all bullshit, but they wanted Trump gone by any means. Even if it involved illegal wiretaps, lying to the FISA court, perjury, and pushing a fake dossier.
The FBI analyst Brian Auten admitted under oath that that neither he nor his team of half a dozen intelligence analysts could confirm any of the allegations in the dossier. But they said nothing.
Here’s the corruption that should result in jail terms: A fake dossier paid for by one political party and its candidate was used by the government to spy on that candidate’s opponent. The Obama regime’s FISA abuse in order to get permission to wiretap Trump.
James Comey, who is an unscrupulous douchebag, was part and parcel of the conspiracy to undermine the election through false allegations and sedition. He also leaked classified information when it suited his purpose and lied to the FISA court.
He conveniently ‘forgot’ to tell President Trump that the Dems paid for the fake dossier.
He lied about spying on Trump Tower.
He covered up for Hillary’s crimes.
Comey’s crimes are well documented and prosecution is long overdue.
Along with Obama and 99.9% of his former regime, he belongs in prison.
