He gets a pardon just days before he gets sentenced for crimes in which he already plead guilty.
Biden before the election:
The White House said Thursday there are still no plans for President Biden to pardon his son, Hunter, before leaving office, in the wake of President-elect Trump’s victory.
“Our answer stands, which is no,” press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre told reporters.
Asked about the possibility of a commutation, Jean-Pierre said, “That’s not what we’re going to do.”
Hunter Biden, the son of the president, was found guilty in June of lying about his use of illicit drugs when applying to purchase a gun six years ago and unlawfully possessing it thereafter, marking the first criminal conviction of a sitting president’s child.
A federal judge agreed to push back Hunter Biden’s sentencing to Dec. 4.
Hunter Biden in September pleaded guilty to all nine federal tax charges he faced, staving off his second criminal trial this year, just before it was set to begin.
President Biden and other White House officials have repeatedly said he would not pardon his son before leaving office.
Biden after the election:
Joe Biden has pardoned his son, Hunter, sparing the younger Biden a possible prison sentence for federal felony gun and tax convictions and reversing his past promises not to use the extraordinary powers of the presidency for the benefit of his family members.
The Democrat president had previously said he would not pardon his son or commute his sentence after his convictions in the two cases in Delaware and California. The move comes weeks before Hunter Biden was set to receive his punishment after his trial conviction in the gun case and guilty plea on tax charges, and less than two months before President-elect Donald Trump is set to return to the White House.
It caps a long-running legal saga for the president’s son, who publicly disclosed he was under federal investigation in December 2020 — a month after Joe Biden’s 2020 victory.
In June, as his son Hunter was facing trial in the gun case in Delaware, Biden ruled out a pardon or clemency for his son in an interview with ABC News.
As recently as Nov. 8, White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre ruled out a pardon or clemency for the younger Biden, saying, “We’ve been asked that question multiple times. Our answer stands, which is no.”
Notice that it is dated back to 2014, covering Biden’s ass for Burisma. He’s even been ‘unconditionally pardoned’ for things not mentioned in the document.
DOJ prosecutors are opposing Hunter Biden’s request to dismiss his indictment, rejecting the notion that a presidential pardon erases the charges against him. The Special Council rejects Joe Biden’s claims.:
“The defendant pled guilty to all the charges in the indictment on September 5, 2024,” Special Counsel David Weiss’s filing stated. “According to the declaration filed on his behalf, the defendant again acknowledged his guilt in accepting the act of clemency.”
The gun charges and tax evasion are just the tip of the iceberg.
The fucking DOJ and the FBI have been covering for the Biden crime family for the last 8 years.
They didn’t just interfere, they obstructed justice. IRS, FBI and DOJ whistleblowers all testified about how the agency hierarchies prevented them from investigating the crimes.
Bank records don’t lie. Biden’s home in Delaware was listed as the beneficiary address for multiple money wires from China while he was running for President in 2019. The Bidens collected at least $15 million in foreign funds and there is evidence the Justice Department “obstructed” federal agents from pursuing evidence leading to the White House.
The Bidens have amassed quite a fortune from their illegal activities and shady deals with the ChiComs and Ukraine. They scored $31 million from five deals in China, all with individuals with direct ties to the Chinese spy apparatus.
They laundered money, peddled influence, committed tax evasion, bribery, and violated the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act. The level of corruption is off the charts.
The Bidens committed treasonous acts for money.
The evidence collected from Hunter Biden’s laptop is more than enough to indict and convict Joe, Hunter, and most of the immediate family. Hunter was operating as a bagman for the ‘Big Guy’, collecting and funneling money to his father. Federal agents know they have sufficient evidence to charge the Bidens with felonies, which they buried to protect them.
They refuse to acknowledge the mountain of incriminating evidence. They hid the Biden classified documents scandal, knew about the Ukrainian bribery, and they dismiss the national security implications of Biden’s collusions with China.
None of this should be a surprise.
The statement Joe put out with the pardon contains some of the most sanctimonious bullshit he’s ever said. And that’s saying a lot. He claims that Hunter was “selectively and unfairly prosecuted” because he is Joe’s son.
This is coming from a regime that has selectively and relentlessly persecuted Donald Trump. And J6 political prisoners.
God knows the GOP has a shit-ton of evidence to prosecute Joe, Hunter, and other members of the Biden family. But that won’t happen.
