WASHINGTON – A few weeks before announcing his re-election campaign,…Obama convened two dozen Wall Street executives, many of them longtime donors, in the White House’s Blue Room.
The guests were asked for their thoughts on how to speed the economic recovery. Then the president opened the floor for over an hour on hot-button issues such as hedge fund regulation and the deficit.
Obama — who enraged many financial industry executives a year and a half ago by labeling them “fat cats” and criticizing their bonuses — followed up the meeting with phone calls to those who could not attend.
The event, organized by the Democratic National Committee, kicked off an aggressive push by Obama to win back the allegiance of one of his most vital sources of campaign cash, in part by trying to convince Wall Street that in the end his policies, far from undercutting the investor class, have helped bring banks and financial markets back to health
……Executives at large investment banks, a group that gave generously to Obama in his last campaign, are remaining on the sidelines for now: Only a handful of such donors have appeared on Obama’s joint campaign filings with the Democratic National Committee, though officials there said more would appear in the coming weeks.

Obama’s done everything he can to undermine this country. His socialist policies are designed to ‘redistribute wealth’ and ‘fundamentally transform’ our economy into a Marxist wet dream. He hates successful business entreprenuers. But then, he’s never had a real job.
He never really got off the campaign trail. A recent fundraiser in Miami resulted in a lackluster crowd. Even the Youth Vote has lost enthusiasm for THE ONE.
The ‘sort of god’ won’t be mouthing platitudes in front of styrofoam Greek columns this time around. Just a rehash of the hopey-changey propaganda to try and lure back his fine, upstanding constituency, disillusioned Dem voters, and the leftwing media cabal that was head over heels for the messiah, but has since engaged in a lover’s spat.
‘Fat cats’ who give to Obama’s campaign are supporting his hostility toward Wall Street.
No savvy CEO or business owner in their right mind would give two cents to this nihilist train wreck.
