NPR’s rancid leftwing ideology has reached a fever pitch. The standard practice of leftwing bias and reporting has existed since its inception and has gotten worse and more blatant in recent years. The latest example of distain for the American public was demonstrated in an undercover video captured by James O’Keefe’s Project Veritas. O’Keefe is the young conservative investigative reporter who busted the chops of Obama’s corrupt ACORN pals.
In the video, Ron Schiller, the former fundraising director for NPR, vented his spleen over Tea Party patriots. Betsy Liley, Senior Director, Institutional Giving was also on hand as an NPR cheerleader.
This episode occurred over lunch with Project Veritas’ Shaughn Adeleye and Simon Templar who posed as members of the “Muslim Action Education Center”, a non-existent group with a goal to “spread the acceptance of Sharia across the world”.
Schiller: “The current Republican Party, particularly the Tea Party, is fanatically involved in people’s personal lives and very fundamental Christian—I wouldn’t even call it Christian. It’s this weird evangelical kind of move….The current Republican Party is not really the Republican Party. It’s been hijacked by this group—that is—
Male undercover reporter: “The radical, racist, Islamophobic Tea Party people?”
Schiller: “And not just Islamophobic, but really xenophobic, I mean basically they are…they believe in sort of white, middle-America, gun-toting, I mean it’s scary. They’re seriously racist, racist people.”
The undercover reporter praised NPR and PBS for ‘giving a voice to the Muslim Brotherhood, Hamas, and Hezbollah’.
Schiller also spewed the requisite “anti-intellectual” accusation toward Republicans and insisted that liberals are more ‘educated, fair and balanced’ than conservatives. He laments that the ‘so-called elite in this country is too small a percentage of the population’, and that ‘you have a very large uneducated part of the population that carries these ideas’.
The icing on the cake was the topic of ‘Zionist’ control of the media and how much the representatives from the “Muslim Action Education Center” appreciated NPR’s platform for Palestinians. Liley piped in with enthusiastic support for the Muslim Brotherhood, comparing Americans’ objection to radical Islamic groups to the internment of Japanese-Americans in WWII.
Of Juan Williams Schiller said, ‘what NPR did I’m very proud of’. As if Schiller’s hypocrisy wasn’t evident, here’s how he justified Williams’ firing:
“Our feeling is that if a person expresses his or her opinion, which anyone is entitled to do in a free society, they are compromised as a journalist; they can no longer fairly report”.

The undercover reporters made no secret of the stated goal of the faux muslim organization. They made it clear to Schiller that world-wide Sharia was the objective and that they had ties to the Muslim Brotherhood, an actual terrorist front in the United States.
If you don’t like muslim extremism and have the courage to say so, you’re just not educated enough. You’re just a racist xenophobe who doesn’t understand the religion of Islam and its ‘peaceful’ practitioners.
During the course of the meeting, Schiller stated that NPR would ‘be better off in the long run without federal funding’. That’s fine by me. I don’t want my “white, middle-America, gun-toting” tax money going to a craven, elitist shill to begin with. If you want to promote socialist agendas and ingratiate yourself to some of the worst Islamic excrement on the planet, then do it without my taxes.
