If Martin Luther King came back today, he would not recognize the disaster that the civil rights movement became.
Segregation, a societal tenet that was ended by the Civil Rights Act of 1964, has become popular again, but this time, among blacks.
Nathaniel Rouse, principal of Oak Park and River Forest High School located in the Chicago suburb of Oak Park, Ill., organized a “Black Lives Matter” event “limited to black students only,”……white students who tried to attend were turned away — so much for diversity and inclusion.
A South Bend Indiana public school district segregated elementary field trips when administrators included only black students on the college introduction tour.
Columbia University held six separate graduation ceremonies based on skin color, income level, race, and ethnicities.
Segregated dorms are gaining widespread support on college campuses.
Segregation extends to the current crop of ‘activists’, aka “Black Lives Matter“, who tell the doting white liberals in no uncertain terms that they are not welcome.
Integration was at the core of the civil rights effort. Now, we’re back to Jim Crow under the guise of “inclusiveness”, an oxymoron that is lost on these dumbasses.
And by the way, Jim Crow and slavery were products of DEMOCRATS.
Nathan Bedford Forrest was a Democrat.
Democrats initiated Jim Crow laws to punish blacks. In fact, the KKK, was founded as the terrorist wing of the Democrat Party.
Remember Sen. Robert Byrd (D-WV)? He was a Grand Kleagle in the KKK.
The Dems have quite a racist history to contend with, and they’ve done everything to deny, cover-up, and revise the chronicles of their bigotry. Now, the blacks that they’ve kept on the Dem Plantation all these years, have finally come around to accept it.
If this keeps up we can go back to all-white and all-black schools. Some of the denizens in the black community would be very happy about that.
Obviously, they’re pushing for modern segregation. If that’s what they want, and if that’s what would make them happy, go for it.
Just don’t blame ‘whitey’ when the separate-but-equal shit doesn’t work out to your liking.
