The ObamaCare Frankenstein Continues to Implode: ‘Co-Ops’ Close Across the U.S.

Nah, it can’t be that ObamaCare is a socialist failure.

It’s an Obamacare story with every imaginable outrage — blatant conflicts of interest, millions of tax dollars going to political cronies, thousands of Americans left without health insurance, lavish pay for incompetent executives, federal funds diverted illegally, multiple congressional investigations, insider trading convictions and big decisions made behind closed doors.

Tragically, there is even a child abuser. But search the New York Times web site for “Obamacare co-ops” and nothing comes up. Just three entries appear for the same search on the Washington Post web site.

Not so, Richard Pollock of the Daily Caller News Foundation’s Investigative Group. Pollock has filed dozens of stories about the Obamacare co-ops since 23 of the tax-funded groups were created in 2011 at a cost of $2 billion. Obama promised the co-ops would help lower medical costs by competing with profit-driven private companies.

Seven of the co-ops have closed. A recent report by the Department of Health and Human Services Inspector General said the rest of the co-ops are in deep financial trouble and more are expected to close.

The dismantling of ObamaCare is being achieved through the collapse of its own tyrannical corruption.

The “affordable care” clusterfuck includes middle class tax increases, death Panels, no freedom of choice for your own healthcare, and skyrocketing costs. Doctors are closing their doors. UnitedHealth, the nation’s largest health insurer, is exiting the individual insurance market, and Aetna warned customers of impending cost increases. Hawaii’s 205 million dollar ObamaCare system is folding.

Estimates for the nation-wide costs of ObamaCare will exceed $1.8 trillion annually, funds for pre-existing health conditions are no longer available, family premiums will increase by $3000, businesses are cutting employees’ wages and hours, and ending insurance for any new hires.

Unions, the leftwingnut media, and the Dems who held a majority in the House and Senate during the 2010 healthcare debate, pushed this oppressive monstrosity through the legislature. No one read the fucking bill. No one will take responsibility for consequences. Not the unions, the Dem politicians, or the morons in their voting districts who thought of it as another free benefit, like food stamps and their Obama phone. As reality sets in, the rats are jumping from the ship.

It was concocted by a belligerent Dem oligarchy, behind closed doors, away from the public. They never bothered to read Obama’s socialist Frankenstein before they rammed through the legislature. They chose instead to ‘pass it to see what was in it’.
