Thoughts on the 2012 Election Disaster

“Toute nation a le gouvernement qu’elle merite.” (“Every nation has the government it deserves.”)

—Joseph de Maistre, 1811

Elections have consequences.

Everything I predicted in 2008 came true. Everything.  Just read what I wrote at the link and multiply that tenfold for the next four years.

There’s a reason why a shitbag like Obama appeals to a certain percentage of Americans.  A recent confession by a mugger illustrates the point. They’ve lost the values, principles, and work ethic that built this country.  They want a handout, not a hand up. You have to do something besides sit on your ass and complain about how unfair it is that the “eeeeevil rich” (READ: job creators)  have so much money. Ordinary rational humans don’t want to destroy their countries’ economy with government-owned healthcare and business, and penalize wage-earners with more taxation.  But, that’s the goal of the class-warfare neo-Bolsheviks in the White House and the Democratic party.

I have a newsflash for the self-made victims of class warfare: You could tax 100% of the income of wealthy people (including the wealthy guilt-ridden liberals) and still not have enough to pay for this out-of-control government.  There aren’t that many rich people in America.  Our debt is over $16 trillion and climbing.  It is unsustainable. We are being gouged by a government machine whose existence depends on devouring as much money as it can from the pockets of taxpayers.  Added to the mix is a cabal of Dem politicians who share a visceral hatred of free market capitalism.

They refuse to cut all the gawd-awful waste and pork that drags our economy into jobless depressions. When politicians spend beyond our means, we pay the price.  Their first instinct is to tax their way out of it. Sooner or later the government will run out of enough taxpayers to feed the maws of its out of control spending habits.  As Maggie Thatcher once said: “The problem with socialism is that you eventually run out of other people’s money.”

Excessive taxation, oppressive regulation, and bad financial policies foreclose homes and drive people out of business.

“Free healthcare” is not free.  Welfare is not free. Food stamps are not free.  The taxpayer, especially the working middle class, shoulders the burden, no matter how much Obama preaches the “spread the wealth” agitprop.

Which brings us to why over half the voting population re-installed the SCOAMF.

Politicians are gleaned from our society.  They’re not from another planet, despite some of the lunatic fringe-dwelling ideologues. Selfish, incompetent, slothful, freeloading deadbeats always install politicians who will accommodate.  Evidently, over half of the voting population thinks this is a great idea.

I’ve been tracking the public reactions and the fallout for the last couple of days.  The  “oh, my god, what did I do last night” hangover has kicked in. Unfortunately, those of us who voted for Romney and a better America will be suffering right along with the douche bags who voted skin color, big government, and socialism, over substance, courage,  and moral clarity.

If 4 years of destruction by a Marxist SCOAMF wasn’t enough to convince this country that he should be kicked to the curb, nothing will. Face it, the assholes who voted for Obama are a combination of union pukes, liberal effetes, and minority “gimmiedats” who prefer a welfare check and food stamps over employment.

The independents who can’t make up their minds, have been on the goddamned fence so long, it’s permanently attached to their asses.

This is what America has become. It is no longer a strong economic and foreign policy force in the world. Obama will finish trampling this country into unrecognizable pulp.

I miss America already.

  1. Unfortunately we can dwell in the land of the Japanese/Argentines/British for many, many years with gray as the common color that unites us all.
