Radical cleric Abu Qatada, described as “Osama bin Laden’s right hand man in Europe,” is to be released in the next 24 hours.
Qatada, who is accused of giving advice and support to terrorists including the leader of the September 11 hijackers, has been described in official documents as a “truly dangerous individual” who was “heavily involved, indeed at the centre of terrorist activities associated with al-Qa’eda.”
He has been convicted twice in Jordan in his absence for conspiracy to carry out bomb attacks on two hotels in Amman in 1998, and providing finance and advice for a series of bomb attacks in Jordan planned to coincide with the Millennium.
It was those convictions which allowed him to argue in the Appeal Court he would not get a fair treatment in his home country.
What cracks me up, is that Jordan is just one of the producers and financiers of terrorism in the Middle East.

He will be electronically tagged and put under a 22-hour curfew at his family home in Acton, West London.
He will not be allowed a mobile phone or access to the internet and the bail conditions include a long list of Islamic radicals with whom he is banned from communicating, including Osama bin Laden.
Why don’t they just send him to bed without his falafel? He’ll just get others to communicate and work around the ‘restrictions’ for him.

9/11: Planned and carried out by Al Qaeda trained terrorists, funded and bred throughout the Middle East. There’s the conspiracy. You can thank the Islamofascists for that.
Oklahoma bombing: Planned and carried out by two disgruntled anti-government miscreants who assembled the explosives with easily-obtained fertilizer and other equipment.
Hurricane Katrina: Your assertion that the government, hell that any government somehow has the power to conjure up a hurricane or control nature is just beyond nutty. As for the levees, they have yet to construct a barrier that can withstand a force five hurricane. Not only that, but New Orleans is right smack in the middle of hurricane alley, BELOW sea level. When the Atlantic decides to flood 20 feet of water over a low-lying area, there’s not a whole lot that can stop it.
Waco: The ATF stepped all over their kranks on that one. David Koresh was a megalomanic armed to the teeth with automatic weapons, who believed the “end of the world” was going to happen any day. It did….at least for him and his brain-washed minions. The authorities did not have to wait until he barricaded himself inside the compound. They could have arrested him long before that and avoided that tragedy.
You “troofers” see a conspiracy boogey man behind every door. There’s enough corruption and real conspiracies happening without you having to make them up.
